I don't know about all of you, but I just spoke with Amazon customer support and they told me there is nothing they can do... they blamed Zenimax and I'm inclined to believe them. Zenimax has screwed up a couple of things operationally thus far, so this wouldn't be a first.

Personally I don't care if I receive my copy next Friday, but the whole way this was disseminated pisses me off. To send a communication out last minute on the date of expected delivery is poor customer service all around on both Zenimax and Amazon's end.

Just makes me wonder how many extra orders were placed.

I logged on about 12 or 1pm today, saw the email. Went online for amazon and imediately approved the order for a different release date. I then talked to amazon customer support, and zos support.

Amazon blamed ZOS for not sending enough of the copies out, BUT they said this is a common occurance as with new big games like this, these things usually happen, and consoled me and said: the game will come to you, but just not today, next week sometime.

That left me skeptical, and after that i talked to ZOS support. They said its an issue right now, but that it is being fixed. he told me i would receive my game, but maybe not today. He was very re-assuring that my game would come soon, and that i was not duped out of my collectors edition. 10 minutes after, my amazon order changed to: .Preparing for Shipment". Now i have not received an email for the day i will get it, whether i still get it tonight, or not idk, or tomorow. but it changed to Preparing for shipment, so it shows things are being worked out.

Called Amazon, they said for sure that its coming if it says preparing to ship. They aren't sure why the orders didn't go out before the launch. So I get mine on 9 April, couple days of locked out, but I guess I can hug my son or kiss my wife between those days.

... Have nothing to say, but they can do something, just send us code first, I can wait for the physical staff 1 week or 2, it is fine. What we need now is a Imp edition code with explore pack.

Unmatched. You should be ok....I think. I know the Amazon Rep I spoke to said she wasn't going to touch anything in the system to make sure the order stayed the same. So hopefully changing your billing info won't reset things in their system for some reason

thank god. i hope everyone else gets a fix though, which im sure they will IF they dont cancel their order, ya know? but Good luck everyone.

OMG!?!?!?! I don't know what I did to deserve this! Maybe it was me ignoring the infomercials telling me to help kids in Africa. Or maybe it was the devil Sarah McLachlan's animal commercials that made me want to stab myself with a dull #2 pencil that I ignored. But I PROMISE I'll at least watch them now!

Just got off the phone with Amazon, I was told that my copy is sitting in their warehouse with my name on it, but he was uncertain on why it hasn't shipped yet. He informed his supervisor and I'm expecting a phone call back about it.

Just got charged from Amazon. Things are looking better.

Did it really Unmatched? Was it when you changed your information? That really sucks, hopefully you can find one at a Gamestop. There are some by my house or maybe a Best Buy.

Yes, it was when I updated my billing information. I'm waiting on hold right now.

Well I used to be an Amazon fan boy. But they just told me to go ef myself. I have a rather lengthy online chat in my email with them where they said sorry, but your not getting one. I cursed.

Then I cried.

So, my delivery date is expected Friday the 11th. Is ZoS really going to be locking those of us out who pre-ordered the Collectors Edition of the game due to a faulty and crappy execution of delivering us goods that we actually did pay more for?
