Yea, to me, KCreports means nothing. All those kills could be assists. I'm not saying it is in that case, but it could. If there was an addon that would consider you doing most dmg on some1 as a kill, now I would consider it, but we all know that'd be way too heavy on ressources.

I find that looking at the KB to K ratio helps paint a better picture of how well you're doing. That still has plenty of flaws, but somebody with 100 kills and 50 killing blows is probably contributing more than somebody with 100 kills and 5 killing blows. For me personally, I can feel good about my KD in a session if around 50% of my kills are killing blows.

KB to K is better (though obviously privileges sorcs a la battlegrounds scoring, along with execute heavy setups like a stamblade with poison inject and a direct execute)

Kills/(Group size) to Deaths works okay too.

But ultimately, zerg surfing will give mediocre players good looking KCreports, playing truly solo will give decent players relatively mediocre KCreports. It takes like 5 minutes to rack up a nice 20-0 KCreport just light attacking from keep walls in Vivec, for instance. Woo.

And on a NB, your KCreport is really just an indicator of your fight selection/patience, not necessarily your skill.

It’s roughly 278k to upgrade a single piece of jewelry from purple to gold quality I’d be very surprised to hear that someone was running around kyne with that on let alone a full set.

I'm sure it is. I was actually being a smart ass and eluding to the fact that many of them probably wouldn't do well there. I saw many of the same names in Kyne that were there when I first started. They dont do well there either.

No, I agree. Just some folks want to stand on the shoulders of others and call themselves tall. I'm just cool being alright at stuff and doing fun things at this point. Whether that's in vet or nonvet (albeit, mostly vet). I more or less just play with folks in duo so I can't blame people if they have a social group - mine just migrated off of Kyne.

I will fully own that. I have not moved to vet for several reasons. Firstly, I am just OK in Kyne and would (have) just get (been) creamed in vet. I, unfortunately, do not have the time available (or maybe skill? I am old, after all) to improve to the level that some people are able to. This is a game that I play to have fun and disappear from the stress of real life. Just getting destroyed over and over in unequal fights would not be my idea of fun.

Secondly, I love playing with my guild. As you know, it is a Kyne specific guild. I have no ties with any other guilds playing vet campaigns.

Now, that being said, if ZZ moved to a vet campaign, I would probably follow, but that would really be my only motivation to do so.

Haa haa... Yeah, it has been dead. I have noticed what seems to be a new wave of DC in Kyne this summer. It is kinda like last summer's AD wave that took over Kyne. Maybe EP will have a turn next year...
