Just rerolled a magplar and almost went argonian... Ended up going with altmier and am wondering if i missed an opportunity...

Think someone's sarcasm detector may be faulty

I come from Guild v Guild mmo culture where everyone in the fight must to be trained and brought up to minimum skill/gear so this pug/pugs concept is foreign and repugnant to me. No one is going to convince me to accept it so please don't waste your time.

I disagree. If you play on PC/NA there is only 1 primetime. North American prime time.

In general, I agree with Stridig (90% of the time, dude has a good grasp of human nature). You Oceanics, though..... that's a damn mess. NA or Eu? Ping difference, gotta be a toss up. Still, If you're going to play NA, you've got to look for pop surges based on east coast/west coast times- simple numbers.Same on EU.
A lot of disingenuous back and forth goes on here about who night caps and why; the Aussies always end up in the middle....because they're literally in the middle. Until there's an Oceanic server, that's just the way it's going to be. I don't follow the EU forums, but I bet Aussies get the same grief there. We all tend to look at things from our own perspective without checking our ego and stopping to think what it would be like if we had started "over there".

Aside from that, people just need to get over themselves. Some folks are going to be team players, some are going to do their own thing, and some are going to do both.

I’ve seen this issue from both sides. Started ESO at launch in Hawai‘i time zone and begged for Oceanic server back when multiple campaigns were full of players and they didn’t make one then. Def not gonna happen these days. We all like to have good fights when we log in at all times so people shouldn’t be demonized for playing when they got people on. Likewise, the faction they all are playing for shouldn’t delude themselves that they are super awesome because a group is night capping and PvDooring for them vs little to no competition from rivals.

I imagine a faction locked campaign would help alleviate some of this as people/guilds playing there would probably care more about honorable and balanced fights and overall campaign health but who knows. Would be even better if we could combine Euro and NA servers for more activity around the clock but I’d think that one is a pipe dream.
