For people who actively trade, it's pocket change.
For people who don't trade or farm, it's some gold they can finally buy something (some furniture? a small house?) with.
Either way, it's a 'small' thing, relatively speaking. And unlike "3 crown soul gems" and similar rewards, it's actually useful for many people.
(I can get it in a few days, just doing daily writs on my 7 characters. It's not going to unbalance the pretty-laughable-already economy)9 -

It isn't a good thing when the daily reward is that high.
I believe players should play the game and the market to earn gold.
Daily rewards should be of limited value only since it's basically a reward for logging in.
Also, giving billions of gold to a large number of players(100,000 gold for each account*) can be problematic for normal trading and will reduce the value of the gold currency(too many players will have more gold).
Furthermore, many players will login daily on multiple accounts and exploit it to get much more.
