Lol wut, I do writs pretty much daily on 12 characters, takes like 3 mins if that, per character, all crafting writs, one after another.
End of a week, I get gold mats, a lot of gold, surveys, master vouchers, etc etc, then I go kill people on the game or other games, like Battlefield 1 or something, while my mailbox clogs up from sales from writ haters who buy things we get tons of:P

No real secret that I know of. Everyone has their theories about different methods of refining to improve your odds, but I think it's just RNG being RNG. Some people have it good, others it never shines on.
