So October-November, good to know when I'll be subscribing eso again :).

However nothing about spears, which is sad, very sad...

I like that he outlined their work schedule. A lot of people don't realize how long the development cycle is for these expansions.

Thanks for posting. I really never watch these videos but I enjoyed this one. It really puts things into perspective when you hear "new content every 12 weeks" and their timeline for the next few years. I really don't mind paying for ESO plus when I hear stuff like that.

Murkmire has been in progress since just after the game released in 2014... It was supposed to be an adventure zone like Craglorn.

right now we can say Wrothgar is the unofficial first ever chapter... Pushing the storyline, loads of content, and 1 man arena etc...

Yes....but at what cost? Frequent instability, seperate issues for console players, lots of problems that get hotfixed but never get fixed....

I like the enthusiasm but jeez they think we like getting frequent buggy content? Its quality not quantity ZOS!

ye but as mentioned above it was the first unofficial chapter at the time, 1 arena but no skill line or class, and at least it gives as an insight how they explore terriotires in the future so prob next year chapter will be in a DC Zone or maybe we get Blackwood with Leyawiin and Bravil as a sort of Nostalgia factor again like Morrowind was

I would call Craglorn the first expansion, really...but the first paid expansion yeah I'd give to Wrothgar even if it wasn't a "chapter"

They have a team that does maintenance and they have a team that creates content. They are two and separate, so it doesn't mean if they're making new content the game will suffer technically. Just have faith, the game is still FAR from unplayable.

I heard somewhere it should be comparable with Craglorn and that they ZOS talked about Murkmire a long time ago. So I hoped they already have some old content created they could use now or something similar.. I'm not a big fan of these little DLC zones.
Of course i know about their DLC and Chapter politic, but i hoped for more - and now my dreams are shattered and I'm left with nothing but despair and hopelessness. :|

I've speculated before that they were going to split it in half. The datamined map is floating around somewhere, it will be interesting to see how much of it the released zone takes up...

I don't think the developers/staffers get enough credit for how great this game is. This game is only getting better, and more like a great elder scrolls game with each batch of content/systems added. Great job ZOS! Looking forward to what is next!

Murkmire will likely be the size of Hews Bane or Clockwork City for sure. At least if this map I found is any indication.

Keep in mind, that Shadowfen, makes up about 3/4th or more of each of the following three areas in the north of this map: Vudal Marsh, Itzapakal, and Arnseia.

    JE2vGQs.jpg

It's very likely the original team intended for this area to be much better and comprise more areas of the Blackmarsh, but it was cut up to be sold to us in smaller peices.
Far too many characters to list any more.

i like to believe that wrothgar was supposed to be a chapter.

If it is anything like Craglorn, which was released in 2 parts, same thing might apply to Murkmire. Except now they will release it behind a paywall for both parts.

Im glad that we will get another argonian area. If quests will be on a same quality level as those of past few chapters and DLCs, it would be great.

Very disappointing if it turns out to be a small zone....Story content for clockwork was amazing but it does nurk me that the zone is so small....clockwork could get away with it as it is a plane all within its own....but a land mass in blackmarsh...

....Hope we get a 2nd part if it is small.... :/

    Yeah....nah.
Unfortunately this game is not getting better, it's getting bigger, which is not always a good thing.
Whoever played this game since the very beginning, knows what eso used to be (I'm talking about the technical side).

Speak for yourself. This game is miles ahead of where it was years ago. It's gotten better in every area except Cyrodiil PVP. And even with Cyrodiil people are looking at it with rose colored glasses by saying it used to run smoothly, because I definitely remember it always running like trash.
