Suggestion: Ult reset on start of a BG

As the title explains, I think it would be a small tweak and more fair if everyone starts with 0 ult.
This would mean that no one will have ult directly in the first fight, so for example 1 premade team cannot ulti bomb the rest.

    I like this idea. When I play w a group in bgs, we all make sure to have ults going in. Run in quick ulti dump to wax a bunch of people, then rinse and repeat.

    With the new Balorgh set, this suggestion is even more important.

    Players shouldn't be able to prepare an ult bomb AND get a 1000 WD/SD boost the instant the round begins.

    Especially in game modes where winning the initial clash is has a disproportionately large impact on the score outcome, like Crazy and Chaos.

    I think this is good too, easiest way to code it is reset ultimate points upon entering any pvp situation, i.e. when battle spirit is first applied.

    What does it matter though? So they kill you right away. And then they don't have ult. At most they get like 4 or 5 kills out of it because I doubt they wipe all 8 enemy players at first contact.

    And then they get their ultimates almost back up again. :> Especially if they kill vampires and/or werewolves. That's an additional ultimate just there. If they're Nightblades with Soul Harvest, they'll gain even more.

    So yeah, I like this suggestion.

    Yeah it should be zero. Having full ultimate before the match separates good players from great players (not that it's right).

    When BGs were first coming out, Wheeler addressed this very issue and said something to the effect that they don't want to mess with the character itself as it enters BGs due to potential bugs.
    “There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.”

    Or you can expect, and thus prepare for, a nuke fest within the first 60 seconds of a match.

    we had same issue back in the day in nw, and one day the devs removed ltimate when game started. I like it.

    @iALEXi I also agree. The start of a match can be really tense and exciting if everyone is on equal footing.

    We faced a premade team in BGs. After the match, while queuing for the next match, we watch that premade team duel each other near the BG tent to build ultimate between matches. Queue pops, and there's that premade team again. With topped-off ult. Cheesy as hell. I'm entirely in favor of eliminating this sort of thing.

    Is it really that big of a deal? There is nothing stopping you from also building ult between matches if you really care about it.

    Why not make it so everyone has ults ready upon going in? Or you could have yours ready, either way.

    There is a clear reason why you need to drop your ult before any competent duel match (or tournament). The same must be applied to BGs as well.

    This is one of the reasons this needs to happen:

    Balorgh
    (1 item) Adds 129 Weapon Damage
    (1 item) Adds 129 Spell Damage
    (2 items) When you use an Ultimate ability, you gain Weapon and Spell Damage for 10 seconds equal to twice the amount of total Ultimate consumed

    Every match can begin with an extra 1000 wd/sd. Personal feelings about the set aside, it should be something you have to work for in the match.
