I don't want to duel. So of course you will get the "someone declined the invite". Lot's of people want to be left alone and not fight.

I can see getting annoyed when its a tank or healer that decline since they prob where not in que for long but i can understand dps declining or letting the time run out since it takes so long to get a que pop as a dps they could now be doing a quest or afk or just not want to do the dungeon any more after a 20-40min wait and don't got the time now so so

I can understand how you may not if you dont queue for randoms a lot. It seems pretty common if you do.

The ellipses had the correct number of consecutive periods, that's the take away.

Most of the responses you've been getting are in direct correlation to the low level of information you supplied.

People get that message when a duel invite is declined. They also get it when someone actually declines the group queue for the dungeon. Now that we are aware that you are specifically referring to getting the message after the group is forming...maybe we'll get somewhere.

My favorite is when I leave the queue through the menu and I’m still in it unbeknownst to me.
and then it tries to port me but fails with “Instance Full”.
and I go to the menu again and remove myself from queue again.
and then 2 minutes later I’m in a dungeon group I didn’t want.
and I can’t even port to them.
and they’ve been begging me on a chat tab I closed to tank for them.

That’s my favorite. And by favorite I mean it’s the absolute worst.

No, we still get it when everyone queues up. I've verified by queuing for random with 3 other guildies while in discord. Random dungeon is selected. Queue instantly pops, we all click "ready" and STILL get the message that someone declined the invite. Sometimes we've had to break group as the message constantly pops up even though everyone has clicked ready for 5 minutes. It's definitely an issue that needs to be fixed.

I know it’s a bug. My last sentence to the original poster is acknowledging that he finally made it clear that it was the reason for his post.

Every time you queue for something be it dungeons or battlegrounds it will multiple times pop up and tell you that someone declined the invite which 99% of the time just isn't the case. You can easily verify that by queuing as a 4 man group. If you are a 4 man group and queue for a dungeon with one person declining you actually get removed from the queue, whereas this doesn't happen with this bug.

During the event where we got random rewards from random normal dungeons the amount of people queuing broke the group finder. We had multiple server downtimes for "fixes". What we have currently is the result of these fixes and ZoS never looking back at it again.

Especially with the introduced MMR system in BGs this has become even more frustrating.

ZoS a groupfinder is one of the core features of each MMO, please sort this out.

My guess is that the ZoS servers can't handle simultaneous responses to the "are you ready?" prompt. If everyone clicks on "F" right away when prompted, it doesn't handle that properly and gives the fake error message and a new prompt. Just speculation on my part tho... and yes, I have seen this issue a lot, even with pre-formed groups where we are on voice comms and everyone is pressing F to proceed with the dungeon.

It's happening quite often.
There is also a "Waiting for players" bug after entering the battleground which is even more annoying since you have to leave the instance and you get a nice deserter.

It's the most annoying bug. Even with pre-made groups it bugs out 95% of the time on the first try. But it hasn't been fixed for years, so I'm not holding out hope.

I think it happens when all instances of the dungeon are full...

This evening the dungeon finder is really hopeless...I am now 1 hour in qeueu and saw(I counted it) 53 times the message: someone declined the invite, you were placed at the front of the qeueu. :-(

It's disgusting that zos doesn't bother fixing these kinds on bugs, the queue had problems since the first day it went out like 2 years ago.

There are also other problems, but zos... what can you expect when it comes to bug fixes.

They admitted that it is broken last dungeon finder event but they never did fix it. They also seem not to care that it is completely broken in EU evening lately. But hey at least they introduce new mounts for crown store.
