For defending tho, it's another thing. There are many things that can happen. People might not call how many are attacking. Or maybe groups didn't coordinate and all ended up there, making it overkill. Or maybe people don't wanna take risk, cause an enemy zerg might show up.

For example, in 1 assault, I said in zone to not bother showing up, this was in the pocket. As we were about to flip and a big zerg showed up out of nowhere and wiped us. My point is, Cyrodill is a wild beast. You can't tame it, nor predict at 100%. It's hundreds of different people playing at the same place after all.

Also, what the hell is with these 600k HP walls? That's one sure way to kill a map. It's as if ZOS never played this game. Yeah, taking and defending a ressource is great on paper. Reality is you'll just likely get zerged, and even if you try to even the odds by flaggin some keeps to put some distance between a smaller group and the zerg, those massive HP walls will just kill any attempt to take a keep.

Degradation is back. Take the farm, guards get weak. Take the mine, walls get weak. The way it used to be.

Yeah that's cool in theory but in reality it just means that whatever underpopped faction is going to have a hard time getting anytime back as it will just give ample time for any defenders to get there. Which is fine in primetime, but in offhours it will really hurt how the map can be played. As long as the defending group is bigger than the attacking group, it will be nearly impossible to flip a keep.

Thought the resource change was gonna be a bigger deal in vet but honestly feels no different when it comes to flipping keeps. Haven’t played in kyne since the patch so I can’t comment on that.

Why you so mad? Our group of 4 just got zerged down repeatedly by EP pugs. It's really not that big of a deal. Fighting pugs that is. I love fighting pugs.

The full raid of DC PvDooring EP’s empty keeps while avoiding the 1 bar of AD at Ash makes me sad. I really hope we see an uptick in EP and AD population that actually wants to stay and fight after midnight EST, or a drop in DC pop, cuz this isn’t PvP.

It's too bad that they all log. We had some outstanding fights a couple hours ago with every DC keep flagged. It sucks that there is only a 2 hour window that has fairly even pop.

I think what some people forget is that Cyrodiil was made for large scale fights (please try to refrain from witty jokes about if the servers were built for that... We know...). You wanna small man? Got a place for that... BG. Or even IC is more small group leaning. I have no problem with zergs. AD or DC zeging? Start leading and organizing your own group to combat it. Being righteous about it and staying solo is akin to the definition of insanity (repeting the same thing and expecting different results).

ForumPVP aside, in actual PVP, there were some tremendous fights yesterday in Kyne. PUGz had 4-5 people and Saber played Argonian MagPlar for the first time; as with most things Saber does, he proved to be ridiculously hard to kill and we had a bunch of great fights with EP.

Tbh a valid strategy is to keep harassing EP all night because we all know that taking stuff back from AD after a fight from EP is like the Gatorade shower after a football match.
