You ever tried in Open World? Have fun when it gets killed with 15k HP, or simply stuck in a wall or terrain, or doesn't follow you at all. Not to mention it costs two bar slots and a ton of mag.

It doesn't seem to be very well known, but the matriatch heal is centered on the caster, not the pet. So when the pet gets stuck miles away, its kind of a good thing as you can still heal, still get the Necropotence bonus, but your pet isn't in danger.Minalan owes me a beer.

I never could get the heal when the Matriarch was a bit far stuck somewhere when I tried pet build on Sorc a while back. Not sure if that changed or just was lag I am always dealing with.Imperials, the one and true masters of all mortal races of Tamriel0 -

I often play sorc, and I think this is getting to the point of absurdity.
Don't want damage to stack, but have no issue with shields stacking?

Again, I'll say: speak for yourself. I slot exactly one shield, the regen sorcs one, and none other. I don't use a resto staff either. I don't use sloads either, and yet, I am 1st or 2nd in kills (or assists, if I'm getting kills ripped by other sorcs/NB, because I don't spam my execute) every BG with very few exceptions.
I can't imagine what trouble you'd have with someone who was actually GOOD because I'm not.
I'm just better than those I face.
So you want the game adjusted to your situation... not whats possible, right? If your sorc can’t survive through 800 dmg a tick, you have other issues to focus on
