Scalecaller Hard Mode vs Fang Lair Hard Mode; Which is harder?

I’d just like to make a poll to see which one was harder for you guys to complete. I’m curious because I personally think Scalecaller Hard Mode is WAY easier than Fang Lair HM by far. I did Scalecaller Hard Mode in a couple hours but I have been stuck attempting Fang Lair Hard Mode every night for the past four nights for a couple hours each time, and I have not completed it. I know I will eventually, but since I am having so much trouble with it, I’m curious to see how you guys feel about the topic.

✭✭✭✭✭ScalecallerScalecaller. It can be cheesed by bringing 3 high dps dds and forcing her to go from one ice phase to another, but it only proves that its badly designed.

NupidStoob✭✭✭✭✭Fang LairGot mountain god yesterday after around 9 attempts with a semi experienced group. Tank and 2nd DD are not at CP cap yet and 2nd DD is stam which is just worse in there.
What makes the fight easier is that the tactic is just repetitive and straight forward. The boss has only 4 attacks and once everyone knows how to deal with all of them as well as standing on the line properly it's rather simple. High DPS also makes the fight a lot easier.
I haven't beaten vFL HM yet, but tbh I have spend way less time on that than in vSP in total. However there is more RNG and high DPS gets punished at least in the first phase.
Will be trying to get no bone unbroken in the next few days, but we'll prolly have to make some build adjustments. Some classes have a big disadvantage with mobility so we'll prolly have to use some swift jewelry and lot's of cp in sprinting and tumbling.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭ScalecallerI could see where a good group that has done it lots of times would say Scalecaller is easier. For a first clear however, I think Fang Lair was easier, as assuming you have DPS that can fend for themselves, you can get away with a sloppy clear. Scalecaller punishes missteps more, and your group really does need to be more coordinated.
The flip side is that my smoothest clear of either of them is definitely Scalecaller. If you have really high DPS that can push the phases, the fight is very circular.0 -
