mDK has fossilize and talons to combat permarollers (and leap)
Templars have sweeps and the damage portion of power of light (their spammable and RD which will definitely be used this coming patch)
Magicka Warden shalk hits harder than curse but definitely takes an infinite amount more skill to land so that's a wash
mNBs I feel bad for, and it's one of the reasons I don't main as one.
Templars and mDKs just aren't ranged classes, all their pros involve up close.
MagSorcs don't even have a melee range build because it only has a single offense style that is even useable...

So why should someone play a ranged build then if being in melee distance is more effective? But nvm. The discussion is pointless. People are already queuing up for another round of Sorc nerfs. This time it’s shields. Again. After that? Curse and Implosion probably, along with Power Stone. After that? Wrath/Fury. There will always be something to complain about because it’s a Sorc skill.
