What the hell did I just witness? Well, it was one of the WORST experiences Iv had in ESO, since the beta. Between the bitching and whining of other people about a skill or 2 that, in there opinion, is a no talent hack for people that dont know how to play. To the venomous PVPers that call you out in tells, calling you everything under the moon (just because they died in a fair battle), to the gankers that just can not be killed.
Heres a scenario for you. A group of 6 PvP peeps, venture into IC. Join another group on 6 on taking a flag, when 2 apposing faction players show up... 2... just 2. Now, for the most part, we are all golded out, have our skills in check, and have a decent idea how to play the game. In the other group of 6, had a Former Emperor. So we stood a decent chance of wining, right? &^%#$& NO! Not even close.
Not only did we not drop one... But we all, at one time or another, re spawned and joined the fight again. All of our team ran draining poisons of one kind or another, I ran a frost staff myself and controls. These 2 farmed us for the next hour, untill we just left. NOT once, did they run out of resources, not once did they go below 50%, that we saw. NOT one control landed except 1 Rune Cage, for half a second. And most of the time, they had damage shields going, and never stopped running.
*&^%$ing Disgusting how the PvP community *** on someone for using a skill they dont like, where in situations like above, they used no Rune Cage, No SLOADS, No Caluurion's Legacy, and walked all over the hole zone.
Completely unbalanced.... and venomess
And this experience has caused me to not want to PvP ever again in ESO.

@del9 That's a new one. Seems like that would be easy with a macro... not sure how you'd do it on console... not saying it can't be done. It just would seem that their movement would be jerky but it's completely smooth and at full sprint speed.

Of course you can’t block or use abilities while sprinting, but most good players in a full kite back-turned sprint will be going through a defensive rotation. On stam im going thru vigor, FM, and class abilities like wings or extended ritual. If you tap block cancel each of your abilities in the kite rotation you can spend more time in full sprint, you will have good uptime on block mit. I’m not sure if this is what you saw, but this is how I kite (without macros) and I barely lose any sprint time.

That'd be very hard on Xbox, you gotta press down on the joystick to Sprint and that's not quick lol

This is getting ridiculous that people still complain when they get killed by a smaller group. Let's say the average player has 25k HP and there's two of them versus 12. The average light attack since the buff last patch is roughly 1.5 k to 2K. A 1.5 K light attack from 12 players would be 18K damage. If they use a skill let's say that does 3K on the same player that would be 36 thousand damage to a single player. Are you trying to tell me that you can't kill a single player putting out 54 thousand damage single Target as a group?

Sword and Board ultimate allows that, often the effect does not show (due to lag and whatnot).
Reactive /quickly just tapping the block is a thing too, blocking while jumping ahead keeps the speed same in air if blocking or not. Also SnB passive helps with the moving while blocking speed. And speed bonuses on top of it.. can kinda move decently while blocking when needs.
This is what i meant when people always first go all "this is suspicious.. or cheating" before checking what actually mechanically allows the things they see.

It’s not a “new one”. Every good player does this.
It’s not something you could macro... and why would you? You just hold block when a projectile hits and immediately let go afterwards... blocking for less than half a second... it barely slows you down. Then it’s right back to sprinting.
I've run into such players as well. The frustrating part is that it's too obscure why you lose - how can someone have so many resources, take no damage, and deal more than enough damage themselves? I wish there was a feature to inspect another player's gear ..
Me too.
If there really was a build that allowed you to turn your character into one-man armies why don't more players do it? Why are these characters so rare?
That's why I think some kind of cheating might be involved. I'm not buying the argument there is only a handfull of skilled players in ESO's PvP and everyone else just sucks.

I hear you, this happens a lot and they actually show off stuff like this on tube/streams. When you are pretty good and with some friends/guildies then 2-4 people come to you group of 10-15 with 0 fear at all then whats HILARIOUS is they use a "run away" technique, they find stuff to run around so u cant get line of sight lol... they run and run, then attack here and there. I instructed my guild to not even engage these idiots any more there is no reason to.

What’s even MORE HILARIOUS is if those same “idiots” who run around stuff get 8-11 more people to match the size of whatever group that was chasing them, the fight would be so lopsided that you could call it a dummy target practice.

@Moonsorrow for one thing tap blocking would be super awkward on console. Sword and board ultimate is possible but the animation definitely wasn't visible. I think we can all agree without being patronizing that there are suspicious things in the game due to poor coding/ substandard servers. Suspicion=/=shaming someone for cheating.

There are some cheaters cheating with movement speed for very long time streamers included. Its not something new. When they do that, you cannot even land 1 hit or a CC. Barely they take damage no matter how many people are attacking. Because movement speed ridicuously high, its cannot comprehend the damage. Even with 3 swifts you cannot catch them. There are many people using cheat engine to do that for cheating positions with ridiculous movement speed . Sometimes they completely disappear out of sight and respawn in another position in fraction of second. Its kind of infinite super sprint. If you see people with ridiculous movment speed , there is a high probablity they are cheaters. Just avoid them and report them. Never go in their direction. Its best way to punish movement speed cheaters.
Dont worry you are not a noob , while the other person is cheating. Cheater is the noob. Just leave the place. You can never win a cheater unless you are a cheater.
But if they have high movment speed with expedition , but within reasonable limits and you are able to execute some ablities , and they take damage and they take reaonable time time to recover between each execution, then they could be real pros. I dont think its even possible to hack core numbers other than movement speed apart from NB & DK macros.
I dont think resources can be hacked, because its server side. But who knows.
