PvP, lets discus this ESO travesty.
What the hell did I just witness? Well, it was one of the WORST experiences Iv had in ESO, since the beta. Between the bitching and whining of other people about a skill or 2 that, in there opinion, is a no talent hack for people that dont know how to play. To the venomous PVPers that call you out in tells, calling you everything under the moon (just because they died in a fair battle), to the gankers that just can not be killed.
Heres a scenario for you. A group of 6 PvP peeps, venture into IC. Join another group on 6 on taking a flag, when 2 apposing faction players show up... 2... just 2. Now, for the most part, we are all golded out, have our skills in check, and have a decent idea how to play the game. In the other group of 6, had a Former Emperor. So we stood a decent chance of wining, right? &^%#$& NO! Not even close.
Not only did we not drop one... But we all, at one time or another, re spawned and joined the fight again. All of our team ran draining poisons of one kind or another, I ran a frost staff myself and controls. These 2 farmed us for the next hour, untill we just left. NOT once, did they run out of resources, not once did they go below 50%, that we saw. NOT one control landed except 1 Rune Cage, for half a second. And most of the time, they had damage shields going, and never stopped running.
*&^%$ing Disgusting how the PvP community *** on someone for using a skill they dont like, where in situations like above, they used no Rune Cage, No SLOADS, No Caluurion's Legacy, and walked all over the hole zone.
Completely unbalanced.... and venomess
And this experience has caused me to not want to PvP ever again in ESO.

It happens yo. Welcome to "balance" and there will be people that say you 12 are terrabads because 2 people couldn't be killed.

Such is the way of eso. I have my theories as to how some of the stuff I have seen happen, happen, but I will keep them to myself.

if 6 players cant kill 2 people its a learn 2 play issue. they where better they used team work timed ults. if all of y'all timed your ult and hit them at the same time they would of died instantly. y'all lacked teamwork and just doing your own thing with lack of real pvp experience

100% this was doing the flag thing in ic bomb after bomb did not die. Bombs on the flag bombs at the door was really funny. Only people that died where ppl in inventory and low health pve players.

It wasnt 6 people against 2, it was 12 people. Read the post please. The group of 6 that I was in, group together all the time, and we were all in Discord all the time.

that's even worse if 4 people hit them with a ult all at same time they would of died they where to skilled player who worked together who killed 12 unorganized players who are not on there skill lvl. ive done it to people ive seen other people do it. it only happens to unexperienced players.

I've fought a lot of players, and some are just excellent. There have been a few though that make me suspicious. The ones who never ever run out of resources, but are nonstop sprinting. They hit extremely hard, and their health never drops below a certain point. My buddy with some knowledge of the subject said there are some hackers who use something called "sliders". It makes it so that their health will never drop below a certain point, say 10% etc. It's inevitable that in any game there will always be some cheaters.

It's hard to tell what really happened there without a vid. You should record some fragment of this fight so others could see what was the reason. I can't believe that 12 people on discord got farmed by just 2 players (not bomblades)... Can you tell what sets they were using? (Like pirate skeleton, troll king etc.) Skills (guard, immovable, forward momentum, spell wall, reflective scales etc.). How did they kill you?

Lol 4 of us tower farmed 20 man group. they spawned up a camp and started sieging us. then we wiped them again. 4 people killing 20 enemies is unbalance? nooo. they just suck while we put our time to getting better PvP. GET GUD

So you're saying that 2 people kept wiping 12 people over and over and over, and that's not a l2p issue.

Were they cheating/exploiting? Do you have any solid proof of that kind? Because it could cause them real trouble.

How is this related to balance? What class those two played? And was there nobody with the same class in your 12m group? How you'd describe unbalance except for heavy cursing and using strange keyboard characters?

Looks pretty much an l2p issue.

You can't win vs endless respawn in IC. We just stomp them once and when they try to exploit endless spawn, we just go somewhere else. It's cheap and cheesy and I won't suffer it. Some enemy spawns are so unfair, they must only jump down and are back at the flag.

I mean we can't tell if they were cheaters or hackers unless you have like a video or screenshot or something showing what happened. You say you were a group of 6 pvp peeps + another group of 6 random people so you were 12 v 2-ing. Let me guess were you up against at least one stamwarden or stamsorc?? You say your group of 12 didn't land any ccs at all except 1 rune cage for half a second so was it a duo of roll dodge vigor dps evasion builds? Did you pay attention to what class / build the 2 people had? You also say that these 2 people farmed the 12 of you for 1 hour so now you hate the entire pvp community?? It doesn't sound like you even want to figure out what you did wrong (example you could have tried stacking ultimates to go off at the same time) or whether you were feeding them by going in 1 at a time (you said that you all respawned and came back at some point). Just because you had more people doesn't mean you deserve to win. I've met plenty of pvpers with troll builds that I couldn't kill. Sometimes people are just better or their build is countering yours. It's not like pve where there's mechanics to fighting other players and the answer is to come in with your min-maxed builds. I do have to say losing 12 vs 2 is embarassing, but getting tilted and hating a whole game mode based on that 1 experience sounds biased. 12 people should be more people dpsing and healing, yes?

Edit to add: I do agree with you that combat design and balancing in this game for pvp isn't very good. But seriously were you a group of 12 magplars (overly nerfed class) vs 2 stamwardens (totally not overperforming in pvp class) or something?????

I really doubt that you sux bad enough that these guys wern't running the cheats. Especially since cheats be as common as a certain developers brain farts.

ZOS just stubbornly insists on continuing to ignore cheats. After all, they fixed it so you can't just drop meteors every skill while literally flying so there is nothing to see here.

What is worse is that it does not just result in getting wrecked because the half whits making the decisions drink their own coolaid and end up unknowingly making balance decisions and content scaling decisions for cheat engine. I don't think they even test this stuff themselves. They watch see few try hards in a few instances and are gleefully unaware that the people involved are full on running cheat engine. Morons.

How did your big Morrowind DPS and sustain nerf go for you? Oh yea, the cheaters DPS went up and they still full sustain. Everybody else sure got hosed though.

So I PvP a lot, I see many different skills out there, occasionally you come across one of these players, unlimited resources, amazing survivability and heavy damage, it does make you question if they're using a cheat of some kind as they harass and kill a group of players but it'll nearly always be a combination of high skill, a really good gear setup and a build just for that purpose, and you faced 2 of them working together under their perfect conditions.

Not a big fan of this game's PvP either. I tried to take advantage of the event. But after a couple of days I stopped caring.

My most memorable tell was what this one guy sent me after I managed to stealth away at the end of a fight. I guess he was pissed he didn't get to kill me.

"How did it feel, watching all your friends die around you without you being able to save them?"

I guess he didn't know they were all strangers - not friends - and I could have cared less.

I've come across them a couple of times too. They are extremely rare - but when they show up you notice.

It can't be just good gear and playing skills. If that was the case you would see more of these players. There has to be something else involved (probably some kind of cheating).

Its PvP. You need to invest a lot of time and effort to be solid at it. Also, remember to set yourself offline when in PvP. Saves you so much time and nerves you would spend reading stupid bs ppl send you when they kill you or get killed by you.

@Jeremy yeah, I don't get the salty players that send tells. It's kind of funny since this is a game and has no meaning to real life.

I pvp 90% of the time I'm eso. Pvp players whine about the state of pvp. The l33ts trash any new player coming in and wonder why the population is shrinking.

And before you say it, no, just because there are bots running around the world that is not proof of people cheating pvp.
Most pf the calculation were moved server side which is why things like cheat engine no longer work and the only add ones that work are the ones that rely on information that zos has specifically made available.

I find it really hard to take this seriously... 6 PvPers + 6 randoms (including former emp so at least some pvp experience) couldn't kill even one of TWO people in an hour? Twelve people landed ONE CC in an entire hour?
