I have attached 2 images. The first one is from the live servers. And the second one is from the PTS. The character builds are exactly the same. I've went over it multiple times to make sure I didn't miss anything.
This is on a mag character using blue food for mag and health. As you can see, both my mag and health are slightly lower. Is this happening to anyone else. I've submitted a bug report twice but have not heard anything back. I truly hope this is just a bug because I don't know how many more nerfs I can handle lol. It's on my pet sorc, so that small loss in max mag made me do 2k less dps.

✭✭✭✭There is a bug that makes your stats fluctuate , it happens when you consume food/drink.(the bug is also there on live servers though)

I've tested everything I can think of and this is either some new type of bug, or they changed the way food is calculated. The values that the food give have remained the same. Like I said I just really hope it's a bug lol.0

drummindrummer✭✭✭Also when I first noticed the bug, the second week of the pts our live characters where copied over. I logged into my sorc and it had the correct stats with food that was still applied from live servers when copied. There are all kinds of changes being made to everything so stats are going to be different. And to battle the Power Creep, we usually get a small nerf. How much of this makes it to live is different each time.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

drummindrummer✭✭✭Whoops, I left a shock enchant on my frontbar on pts because I was testing things. I've checked a dozen times to ensure everything is identical. Did a passive change maybe? Like the pet one that gives health. Or maybe the percentage of max mag that inner light gives? I will check those things next time I'm on. If that may be the case it just seems odd that both of them would change at the same time. I haven't seen any mention of anything that would cause this in the patch notes. Shouldn't they let us know if they do something like that? I know it may not seem like much resources lost, but that mag cost me 2k dps lol.0

edit: ok I cured warewolf. I checked inner light values and they are the same. I took away mage guild passive and added back to make sure it added mag. And daedric summoning passive still says 8% health. Stats are still lowEdited by drummindrummer on August 4, 2018 3:31PM0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Also, you should be trying to narrow down the discrepancy.- Remove your food buffs (right-click on it on the character sheet), remove all your gear, remove all the abilities from your bars. Do this on both Live and PTS.
- Compare the stats.
- If the stats are the same, then put on your armor. Compare again.
- If the stats are still the same, then fill your skill bars.
- If the stats are still the same, then eat your food.
At some point, you'll see where they diverge, and you'll be able to pinpoint it.

And this is on a pet sorc. The pets scale only off of magic. I have a very tight rotation and get almost the exact same dps every time. And I lost 2k0

My food had been reapplied several times since I had already spent several hours on the PTS with that character.
Do you notice this with all food types? I'm using Witchmothers on both servers. Did you eat the food on the same bar on both servers? (Since I recall there being an issue with food stats being a bit different depending on which bar you ate on in some cases.)Nightfighters ― PC/NA and PC/EU

Lorem123✭✭✭Blue food (at least) started giving a few hundreds more max stats with Summerset. The increase was neither reflected in the food tooltip nor it made sense in light of the formulas to calculate max stats. It's as if the food was being scaled up a tiny bit (to CP160?) when applied.
I play a mag pet sorc myself and 18430 and 18888 are the exact same amounts of health I had before and after Summerset patch, by changing nothing at all on my character.
Alas, it was most likely unintended and they simply fixed it, so it's going back to the old value. Shame because a tiny bit of extra health completely for free is always welcome.
Btw there's no way 450 less max mag makes any noticeable DPS difference. If you're consistently getting lower DPS on the PTS it is due to some other changes.1 -

Lorem123✭✭✭My best guess is that the increase was due to the same issues that caused some players to receive less stats than intended when using food after Summerset patch. By fixing that in the Wolfhunter patch they most likely also fixed this apparently unintended increase.1

wow, you are absolutely right. I found an old superstar from before summerset. I ran a different build then so mag is different. But health is 18430.
So if you really don't think the mag is the cause for 2k dps loss....I guess I need to start hunting for what cost me that damage0 -
drummindrummer✭✭✭Also keep in mind I'm up around 45k (solo lover) on my parses. If I were only doing 30k then 2k loss would be pretty big. The more damage you do, the smallest of changes can make big differences. Especially when the bulk of your damage only scales from max mag like the pets.
I'm not saying it's for sure the mag that made me lose so much, I'm still investigating a couple parses I just did. But I have not seen anything in patch notes that could lead to any loss on my build.
edit: well I just did a bunch of parses and compared all the numbers. nothing has changed besides the max mag. each of my skills do 200~ dps less, and the max hits are smaller. I'm quite convinced it is the lost mag that is the cause, which I guess was a bug in itself for having more than intended in summerset. The DPS difference is probably due to your weapon glyphs and the changes to how skills proc them.
Try swapping your glyphs on PTS maybe?
In CMX how do your flame glyph/burning DPS and Berserker uptime compare between PTS and live?0
