This will re-install the entire game from scratch. Now I have to wait 3-4 hours while the whole game re-downloads and re-installs. Thanks, ESO support, for suggesting this solution that doesn't work.I'm a man of few words. Any questions?NA/PC server0 -
lease✭Yeah i get to redownload the entire client again as well, the patch complained that i didnt have 60gb free then went and deleted the entire client folder so it could redownload off to a great start... 1

Dont do it!! It is not a fix, it will cause you to just lose the progress that you already have and you will be back to square one!

The Fixe works for me. But if your folder ist empty (no client there) i think it will not work for you.1 -

Hadax✭Launcher asked me install instead of patch then told me I needed to clear 60gb of space. So I clicked patch notes and there was nothing new so I just right clicked the launcher shortcut, clicked go to containing folder, found the game exe, used it and now I'm in. The launcher has its own folder so you will have to go up one and into the other to find ESO.exe.0

Fixed for me.
Edit** That's pretty unimpressive that the community needed to come up with solutions to your release patch regarding re-downloading what they already had available on their system. My fix that worked was shockingly just re-running the eso.exe from the client folder.
The game shows great effort and quality from all fronts of development, please don't screw this up with seriously dumb **** like this in the future. It just kills our faith in quality.

Hit pause. Use the game settings icon IN THE NEWS SECTION, choose cancel, using same icon choose repair. Play after "repair".
This resulted in the launcher again deleting the directory. So now I'm having to restart the download again - 10% wasted.
Files are gone = Nothing to repair0 -

Then it starts you at the right patch. You do NOT need 60 Gb free to do this... you do need about 6 gb because that is the size of the actual patch.0 -
