Can wardens get a class change token?

You can't really use the leader board as a metric for class/race. Players/groups looking to get on the board often design their entire group around the high score. Even if the difference is only a few points damage or whatever it is worth it for those competing to be on top. For the other 90%+ playing the game a few points here and there in the build really doesn't matter.

But if people want to pay to change their warden into something else I don't care.

Every class sees between 20-25% usage. Warden is at 2.7%. I'm sorry, but something is wrong there.

The devs are very careful of making something P2W.
And we should be thankful for that, and be careful what we wish for.

I like their policy on Cash purchases, and wouldn't want it to change.

That being said, I don't think Wardens are that bad.

They are the only class that can do all roles very well.
    They have flavor.

I have seen good Warden players perform great in both PvP and PvE.
I have also seen terrible magsorcs.
I have also seen terrible magblades.
    And even horrible stamblades.

The "meta" is a state of mind. It is made by older, more experienced players that have been around for a long time, and are more attached to their older characters than their Wardens.

Everybody was disappointed when they paid for a new toy, and it didn't live up to their old toy.

    Guess what?
Just because you're used to driving an automatic vehicle, doesn't mean driving a stick is somehow worse.
If you take the effort of actually learning to drive a stick, you'll find that you'll soon be doing laps on a racing track.

Wardens are terrible at DPS and good at healing and tanking (but not the best at either role). Being terrible at DPS is what hurts their representation the most as there are 8 DPS slots on a trial roster, and you are severely gimping the team's performance by putting a warden in any of those slots. And not being the best healer/tank means they rarely get to take one of those 4 slots (DK and temper are simply better).

The meta is not rigid at all. It will accept any class/build that is effective (that's the entire purpose of the meta). New classes in WoW and GW2, for example, see normal endgame usage rates. In ESO, the warden is at 2.7%...

    Define terrible.

45k+ DPS is not terrible by my standards.

It is when you consider that:

    1. Wardens can't use an AOE ultimate
    2. Wardens have to use a pet (resulting in a 15% DPS loss in fights that don't allow pets)
    3. DPS wardens do not have any group buffs/debuffs

They have the lowest DPS of any class while not providing anything else to the team.

It was never actually buffed. Warden has never had higher than 3% usage since it came out. In fact, there was a huge thread on the Morrowind PTS forum warning ZOS that warden was grossly underpowered in its current state. Yet they chose to release it in that state and haven't buffed it once.

Ever heard of "Make a new character" ? Or "Delete the Warden" ?

Sure, but I paid money for my warden. The assumption when you buy a class is that the class will eventually be balanced.

Considering we paid real money for this class,...
    Thanks.

    Requesting P2W.

Sorry, but it's really hard to argue any logic with you.

I won't be part of this discussion anymore, good luck with the Warden buffs.

If you cannot wreck ppl with 3 buttons in PvP, then you really, really need to l2p in the worst way.

    Subterranean Assault
    Dawnbreaker
    Execute (players choice)
    Win.

    Literally...

For some reason running those abilities doesn’t seem to work on my Magden... The dawnbreaker is the only thing that does good damage... Oh I see... when you said L2P you reall meant all magdens should race change, put all points into stam, and swap destro for dw or two handed... on a side note, would be nice to have a instant mag burst ult with a stun or an execute

Asking for a class I paid for not to be terrible is asking for P2W?

Your reading comprehension needs some work.

1500 crowns says you're a sorc or NB main. You guys love to invade threads of other classes coming up with creative excuses for why those classes don't need buffs (i.e. accusing others of wanting the game to become P2W ).

Yes Warden does need fixes. While i agree that without the Bear ultimate getting comparable dps is not realistic but also when we look at those classes that are doing high dps, their heals and tanking are not quite comparable to the warden.

For me i would be happy for the Bear ultimate to not be a requirement, rework the skill and passives, to have execute elsewhere, so that i can use Northern storm/ Meteor/ (bear if single bar) and Elemental Rage.

Literally at this point, that is all i want.

I have only ran VMA on two characters.

I have ran it many times on my fully geared and fully skill point'ed magicka warden (seems like I have ran it sixty times, but maybe only twenty or thirty times?) Will trade account with ten VMA bows for one with a single VMA fire staff :'( ?

And today I ran VMA for the fist time on my new and unfinished magblade.

The magblade's gear out is not done yet, he has no undaunted passives, has lower ranked skills, is missing various passives and has about sixty unspent CP points. I also avoided using potions during the run as I forgot to grab some from the bank before hand.

Additionally, I have never played magblade before, although for the first couple of months after release, I played a hybrid'ish stamblade.

My run on my magblade was extremely sloppy - but, you can guess which of my characters has the higher VMA score.

I don't expect warden to ever run solo content quite as well as a magblade. But when warden has to cast two to five skills to get the same effects as one or two magblade (or other classes') skills plus passives, at the least the warden skills and/or passives should be quite a bit stronger than they are.
