gifts with crowns but also with gems

Since we can make a gift to another player when purchasing something from the crown store, why not allow the same when purchasing with gems. Gems come along with investment in crowns so it's all winning for both sides. I understand there are free crates and such events but they are a very minimal part of the gems availability. What do you think? Would it be profitable to ZoS as well as to the players?

I would support it

One could decide if he wants to buy some crates for gold and gamble, or to choose a particular item which he wants from crates if other player is willing to spend gems.

Cpt_Teemo, I don't speak of crates because you can't buy them with gems anyway and that's the whole idea. I speak of individual items in the crates selection of a particular season. For example if I want to gift a friend the special black lion that is no longer available in crown store.

I don't see this being done at all. I personally have 4 accounts. Could just do the daily log in once on the extra 3 then and build up crown gems with the free crates then have them feed my main gem items when they have enough to buy.
