They nerfed Igneous builds in an incremental last year as well. ZOS moves fast when it affects PVE, PVPers have to wait a year for proc sets to get nerfed.

This is a good point, about Mothers Sorrow and PvE/PvP. It got ignored on PTS and is now on the back burner because they just don’t care about PvP balance that much. There’s absoluely no reason this set should have gone live and no reason it shouldn’t have already been adjusted.

LEVEL 50 - CP 160
Type Craftable
Set bonus
(2 items) 1096 Maximum Magicka
(3 items) 1096 Maximum Stamina
(4 items) 129 Spell Damage - 129 Weapon Damage
(5 items) Damaging an enemy has a 10% chance to put a Leeching Shadow on them, dealing 853 Oblivion Damage every 1 second for 6 seconds. This effect can occur every 6 seconds.
that damage is Weak!
it Can also be purged and allows it to be removed.
the total damage you recieve from it is what ... 5,118 damage?
and it has only a 10% chance to even proc.

how is it being abused?
what, because people wear it is abusing it?
i dont think so, the damage sloads outputs is weak, and it does almost no damage, if you cast purge it will remove it so, how is it being abused?

whole groups of 6-7 people only light attacking you and destroying you just with sloads for example?
Horribly OP when 6-7 people kill you. Without sloads that would be imppossible
Yeah it would be impossible for 6-7 people to kill you when a majority were below cp 500 and were mostly only light attacking you because they still use both mag and stam skills on their bar. There’s a problem where little Jimmy who’s played for 4 months gets together with his other friends John, Bill, Sally, and Jennifer who collectively have only played for 9 months and barely know pvp can kill a season pvper with bis gear and should be able to 1vX them flawlessly.
Look, does it need "tweaking"? Sure. Not proc'ing off siege, not proc'ing off itself. I get that. But knowing ZoS as long as I've played this game, the enormous outcry will get it nerfed so far into the ground, that it becomes another set no one will ever use again.I'm quite tired of it.
By the time Sload's gets nerfed, everyone would have already adjusted to it and it would have been a joke. In a "xv1" situation, 4+ sorcs using lightning staff and knightslayer w/ oblivion enchants is a better crutch than 4 using Sload's anyway. Trust me, you won't be escaping that, not with rune cage being spammed in between every heavy they do and their stacked shields. If that doesn't work, one will start spamming overload. Guaranteed death eventually.
