PVP has never been more unbalanced, more broken

how is this possible- for a game 4 years old, sloads sets, rune prison CC delays, double CC bugs,. immunity not working, Lethal arrow bugs, the double damage sigils in BGs, just so many many things that make this a game of random luck as opposed to skill. this game needs so many fixes its completely discouraging at this point. just venting...

it was told to me by a fellow user that zos doesnt make balance changes in between major updates, maybe its time they rethink that policy if its true

sloads needs to go and rc needs to be reverted, like asap.

this game is so boring, either pve or pvp.
pve nothing exciting other than boring leveling up.
pvp bo balance at all.so fun play sorcgrounds

Well.. No.

1. No-CP scales bad against the massive damage from patch to patch out there. But this is a punishment to everyone.

2. Broken sets are available to everyone and only unbalanced to other sets.

3. Sorcs are strong atm, ok

but

Compared to DK and Sorcs in the first year 1v20ing and permaulting, etc.. is the current state ok.

Don't make me bring up the hell that was Viper, Red Mountain, Selene's, and Velidreth OR the Malubeth/Reactive/Black Rose hell. Talk about unavoidable damage and then unkillable super-sustaining people. And don't get me started on the permablocking people who could poop out serious damage. OR when BGs were CP and everyone was a tank with a pocket healer. Sure, Sload's and some skills are a pain, but nothing compared to what we used to have.

Magicka sorcs since the last update definately need looked at. I extensively play BGs and recently its just been full of sorcs doing the following:

- Magicka sorcs running Zaans waiting for proc with light attacks then streak + dawnbreaker burst.
- Magicka sorcs pet builds - you cannot get close to them due to targetting the pets and when you do they just hide behind their pets again, use their pet heals or streak.
- Magicka sorcs doing 20+ kills in death match when everyone else is struggling to get 10+ due to their execute.
- Magicka sorcs streak away into the distance when the going get tough.
- Magicka sorcs having great shields and doing insane damage.
- High ranking PvPers changing to Magicka sorcs as they seem to be the current PvP meta.

I'm not usually one for complaining on the forums but they definitely need looked at as they are currently too strong in this update.

PS there also seems to be a distinct lack of stamina players in BGs as well ... the recent update to two-handers appears to be contributing to the problems as well.

Every negative thing said about Sorcerers in this thread could be said just about any other class.

What we really should do is link player classes to their forum accounts. I guarantee that everyone, or at least the vast majority of people here, complaining about Sorcerers are Nightblades.

As a Sorcerer I would like to say that playing as a Sorcerer sucks. Have you ever been in a match full of Dragon Nights and had all your attacks reflected back at you? Have you ever been wiped out by cloaked Nightblade in a single combo before the Nightblades stun ever even got a chance to finish?

I'm a full damage build, I hit hard (but also die fast). There are classes/builds in BG that I can't even dent with two full non-stop Magicka bars worth of attacks. And you are here complaining about a class that folds up like a lawn chair when stunned? Other classes walk right into a zerg like it's nothing, if a Sorcerer walks into a zerg hes a dead man.

Anyone can wear Zaans

At least you still have the ability to target them. Try targeting a cloaked Nightblade.

Nightblades have the best execute in the game.

Everyone in PvP runs when/kites when going get tough. People run around objects until fully healed. Nightblades cloak and re-appear fully healed in 2 seconds.

- Magicka sorcs having great shields and doing insane damage.
Yeah shields are really great when your not stun locked. Sorcerers wear light armor, once their shield is down from stun they are 2-3 hit kill. They don't have the healing power other classes do like Dragon Nights and Templar's.

- High ranking PvPers changing to Magicka sorcs as they seem to be the current PvP meta.
This is just not true. Try counting the number of Sorcerers on your team vs stamina classes for the next few games.

I'm not usually one for complaining on the forums but they definitely need looked at as they are currently too strong in this update.

ITs been more broken in the past in terms of OP build combos, but imo PvP has had better patches in terms of the level of fun you could have. Now it just feels like you’re constantly slogging through a field of dots, CCS and snares, like some sort of ability swamp.

Fought a sorc last night, level 41.
He was just standing out in the open, no line of sight or anything. I don't think his health dropped below 50%.
Even a low level 750's gear couldn't be that good, where he/she'd just shrug off damage like that from 5 other fully geared, 750 players. I've never seen anyone....zero of the best 1vX'ers, just stand in the open like that, no line of sight or anything, and just take damage like that.

This is my first attempt at magicka sorc, and I have no idea what I'm doing, (Obviously from the video) and I had a great day until this sorc came along. But keep in mind, I AM PLAYING A SORC In this video, and even I'm saying this is ridiculous.

Bonus: Why is there always one player on your faction who does nothing to contribute to the fight, find it necessary to t-bag his own faction? Players are weird....

This is an actual thing. Four sorcs, rune prison and endless fury spam coupled with Zaan/ Skoria and Sload. PVP is in a wretched state. The days of invincible DK tanks look rosy in comparison.

Kind of have to agree. When you got one-shooted by builds like Viper+Tremor + Widowmaker, I just had a good laugh due to how absurd it was. You couldn´t really get mad about it

Now as you say you´re more or less an ability absorbing sponge. At least performance was a bit better during 1T

It doesn't matter what the developers do, PVP will always have these types of "the sky is falling" complaints. Every time it's worse than before. Every time, there is a problem with certain. builds, abilities, classes. Nerf this, buff that.

This level of complaining often ends up with more changes and it ultimately keeps people away from PVP because they're tired of updating gear and templates to the most recent flavor of the month.

Think the OP has a point though, pvp is pretty broken......not even the sets.....it's the dc, lag, potions/ulti, bar swap not going off that is also a problem.

This exact same thing can be said of PvE.
Do we really need to list all the flavor of the month sets you need for PvE? There's always at least one person in a trial, no matter how well you're doing, that questions your set up and wonders why you're not running the same cookie cutter, flavor of the month set up as everyone else.
I've seen a lot of reasons players list for not liking PvP, but this one is top 3 strangest.
