I would go for Dragon bones. New motiffs are hitting those dungeons in a couple of weeks. Nice opportunity to make some drakes.
“Kings of the land and the sky we are; proud gryphons.” Stalker stands, the epitome of pride. Naked and muscular, his wings widen and his feet dig in as if he alone holds down the earth and supports the heavens, keeping the two ever separate.”

I would go with Dragon Bones. The gear that drops out of there is BIS for certain types of builds, such as Jorvuld's Guidance for healers, Zaan for Magicka DPS, etc. Even the less used sets are good for more niche or PVP builds.

I find that the dungeons themselves are better designed than the Horns of the Reach dungeons as well, with the Veteran versions being slightly easier overall than previous DLC dungeons, yet the HM versions are tough enough to add a progression-like challenge for a 4 man team.

The only really good thing which could drop from Reach dungeons was Earthgore head... It was nerfed, so now - nothing really worth getting there. So far Dragon dungeons are better, in before nerfs to sets which drop there :/:D

Both of them are well-designed with interesting and fun mechanics. Dragon Bones has (imo) better looking rewards, but their HMs are insane compared to other dungeons’ HMs (the jump in difficulty between non-HM and HM is a lot bigger). I found the HotR dungeons generally more difficult in vet, but not in HM. HotR has Earthgore, a nice healer monster set, while DB has Zaan and Jorvuld, both of them nice.

Dragon Bones are probably my favourite dungeon pack so far. Scalecaller must be my favourite dungeon period.

I think the scalecaller skin is way better.

The Bloodforge motif is pretty snazzy. But, you can just buy that from other players.

I liked more Dragon bones dungeons than Horns of the reach. Found them more interesting to do, with better design, combat, mechanics (the plage guy battle is awesome!) and also de aesthetics were, in my pov, more interesting and pleasing.

The general difficulty of HoTR is higher...makes for a fun challenge every time...dragon bones is just meh difficulty...except for HM Zaan...which is kinda crazy. I personally enjoy HoTR more though.
