There's a random stutter every so often, it occurs for half a second but its noticeable. Performance wise, I don't see any difference with all settings turned up on high. There doesn't seem to be an option to turn it off, it's just always on so can't play with it to see how much it actually changes.

    WAY WAY WAY BETTER HERE.

FPS has gone up, load and usage has gone down.

Whole responsiveness of the game for me has improved like crazy, at least 2x too. No more input lag.

And my god has the connection improved too. I'm down ~50ms, and no more weird pvp lag. GOOD JOB ZOS. Made me resub.

From my limited test on PTS and now live, no difference.

    R5 1600 OC @ 3.8 Ghz + GTX 1080

    60-144 FPS in overworld
    35-50 in towns
    GPU usage never exceeds 39%

All settings set to max @ 1080p

EDIT: I just ran around Summerset for a bit and I'm averaging around 30 FPS in random overland areas. However, I am over 60 everywhere else. I'm guessing it's due to server strain (I was getting over 60 there on PTS).

EDIT 2: Yep, logged in during non-peak hours and I'm at 70+ FPS in Summerset overland.

Random stutters, FPS dropping/spiking all over. I just hope things smooth out eventually.

I’m on Mac, but getting lots of stuttering and split second freezes in summerset mostly but Im other zones as well. Responsiveness feels better overall and in PvP as well. I’m not so sure if the FPS fixes worked that well.

Random sudden drops, a bit glitchy. Some games make me nauseated but ESO never has - until today. Had to stop playing or barf. I’m really hoping it was just the sheer number of people in new zone,..

Incredible deterioration in certain situations, no real improvement as far as I can see.

The game hitches like -crazy- now, and I cannot figure out why. It ran at 60 FPS unerring pre update.

When I logged in I noticed smoother frames, but after the server went down and came up again 30 minutes later I did notice some visible stutter, which is not unusual. Since it didn't appear at first, it's almost certain it was caused by bad server connection, and not client performance. For the last few months it's customary for the EU server to croak a bit after patch maintenance officially ends, and even during some game events. Since not only PC but also Xbox and PS4 went down at the same time, I suspect it's not a server issue, but some sort of ISP bottlenecking near their server location. When traffic is high, people get high latency and DCs. So curse the ISP not ZoS next time it happens.

People really need to give their system specs for any of these observations to serve any purpose, not least from the OP's point of view in considering any possible upgrade.

I'd also suggest giving it a few days for the initial population surge to level off and spread out a bit. There may also be code optimisation being done over the initial post-launch period so perhaps review it after the first incremental patch maintenance?

No real difference here. Still a steady 100FPS, with the rare dip down into the 80's.

    Intel i5 8600K @4GHz (6 Core)
    16GB DDR4 Ram

Temperatures have been fine, CPU is has been ~39C (air cooled). Latency has been slightly higher, though, between 120-130, with occasional spikes to ~340.

0 improvements, i got random stutter, my cpu load is still 20-30%(he needs to go on 50-60% when you got a lot of things on your screen) so that means there is no multi core support, i remove all the addons, if they remove the stutter and get better servers(never gone happen), i will be happy! :disappointed: I7 8700k/GTX 1080/16G

Generally speaking some code-patching could likely be done but the most issues I seem to be seeing as far as performance seem to be happening when the game either culls other players or has to load in alot of their models at once. At that point very -bad- hitching occurs.

I'd bet five dollars that multi-threading was implimented successfully, but not alll processes as far as loading graphics were well optimized for those changes. We'll likely see the risiduals clear up infuture.

Also, edit: Turned off addons, did a little testing, didn't help. Def not addons.

Aldmeri Dominion (PC Europe via Steam)

The cowardly Wood Elves are best noted for their unwillingness to engage in a face-to-face attack; a Bosmer will strike at you from every side except the front. You won't cross swords with a Bosmer, but you might catch an arrow in the throat. Be wary in forests and jungles, and watch your back.
