But jewellery obtained before Summerset won't be compatible with the crafting system. If you're just concerned they're going to nerf all jewellery drops and you want to farm the ones you want to use now, then go for it, but if you're expecting to use them with jewllery crafting stations it will be a waste of time.

This, skyshards, public dungeons, group dungeon quests, quest lines, the first one in pvp comes very fast.Taleof2Cities wrote: »Off-topic, but here’s another tip:
Get your skill points that you need for the Psijic Line and Jewelry Crafting now so that you’re prepared ahead of time.
There’s nothing more lame in the forums than players whining that they don’t have enough skill points.
Some of those skill points you can get in Summerset through skyshards, main quest, public dungeons, etc.

And honnestly i don't think drop rate of jewelery will be dropped, its part of sets so it would be hard to change. Perhaps less junk jewelry.

I don't know to much about the upcoming DLC but I am assuming that Zeni may alter ( lower ) jewelry drops. If it is true that you can upgrade jewelry after Summerset then I recommend doing as many group dungeons /trials as possible before the next DLC for a chance of getting jewelry you want/need.

On my main in the past week I have added 20. Did it by doing questing, an afternoon in cyrodill and the dungeons I had not yet completed.
The only thing you can't do with existing jewelry is deconstruct it. So yeah get whatever you are interested in upgrading or transmuting.

That is good to know, I was thinking I could do nMoL now and farm for Alkosh jewelry then upgrade it to gold after Summerset drops.

Skill points are about to become pretty tight after SI if your main is also your crafter.
You are going to need around 35 extra skill points if you want both Psijic and Jewelry crafting maxed out. My main is missing 24 skill points, 14 of which are from not being level 50 in Cyrodiil, only 10 extra from dungeons. I have every other skill points/skyshard in the game.
I have 18 extra currently, so even if I did all those 10 dungeons I still wouldn't have enough for the new skill lines. I am pretty prudent with my skill points and have removed ones from crafting that I don't need, skill lines I don't use etc...
I am probably going to have to remove ones from Legerdemain, and a few others from other "less desirable" skills like "Persuasive" and "intimidation" which I have had since launch.
I am not sure how many we are getting in SI, but I doubt it's more than 5-6. For my main+crafter I will have to make up the difference somewhere else.

So, My High Elf magica Sorcerer has EVERY skyshard in the game, EVERY skill point from Public dungeons, All the quest skill points, THE ONLY skill points I miss atm, is 18 from PvP ranks and a couple quests with the dark brotherhood.
Same character has every profession maxed, all guilds maxed (apart from DB), Got EVERY passive in the game. and unlocked 3 weapon skill lines with all passives etc, all my class abilities unlocked and still 50 too spend!! There are SOOOOO many skill points in this game, that I've been stuck with 40+ useless ones for AGES now! THANKS GOD I will be able too use them comming summerset!

I'm on it. I have 15 spare skill points already on my crafter and I still have one full normal zone and all the DLC quests to do on her.
