@Stridig , I popped in for 20 minutes to an hour last week. Ran into some old names. Things didn’t feel even remotely close 1v1. I used to poo poo the vet meta because proc sets.

I know these guys crutch on gear - if they want to prove otherwise they can screenshot. I was wearing purple shacklebreaker that happened to be at level (let’s get real, I’m not taking time to re-craft). They got erased by me on a class that I don’t even really play since I’ve mained stamwarden in vet. Honestly, it was staggering - I think that since the vet meta recordered from procs that people have just gotten sloppy. Like, if you’re gonna eat a 12k assassins will, that’s your prerogative. I’m not even built for damage, but I can tell how to proc a crit.

No idea, but that siege guild (because that is litterally the only thing they know how to do) logs off whenever they see they can't flip emp in the morning. It's just ridiculous at this point. 30+ people between 6-10AM, every morning, all logging on at once, like come on... I get that this is when Australians are free in the evening, but a) the campaign has a primetime, not Australia and b) being Australian isn't an AD exclusive.

I just don't know another single guild that logs in, finds no resistance anywhere and is like 'perfect boys, raid is up, let's go get em!'. It's made especially obnoxious when I manage to find like 5-8 people at the very best and they just double coldfire any oils we put up, because clearly when you are a 6 v 1 advantage, that is when you pull out the big stuff.

EP and AD can´t fight each other? Is that a rule?
Because all i can see is the EP take everything and just DC fighting back.

Just yesterday when EP took everything that i saw some AD fight against them.

It varies. If one faction is dominating (has emperor, wins most campaigns, is trying to get emperor) they’ll often get double-teamed by the other factions. Other than that, it’s mostly just a false perception. You’re getting hammered on two fronts, you get a breather and look at the map and don’t see a big battle between the other two factions, and think “Why are they ganging up on us?” People in every faction have felt this way and posted it here, but it’s just not true most of the time.

    Ok, thanks for answering me.
Yesterday i saw some resistence at the AD side against EP.
But it´s really hard to do anything this days, is just like dying trying something or forget about war and just run around the map. Not DC not even AD have numbers to do a thing. Sad.

This is not exactly how i see things. Many times DC will take AD keeps when EP is dominating. If AD is dominating you will see DC push towards EP side of the map. This will create the "Ganging up on us" effect. It happens all the time.

Here is an example. Lets say EP has Emp.

AD will push Ash, Glade and Ray at the same time EP is at Ales or Warden. I think this is because AD doesn't have enough players on to defeat EP or they are just making moves to crown an AD Emp after the dethrone.

Kyne has been pretty imbalanced lately. EP not only dominates primetime right now because it has a population advantage, it also does so because they have an overwhelming amount of twinks in it.

DC's guilds are mostly on hiatus and/or have lost their best players to other factions (and let's be honest here, there's some serious fanboys going to EP just to play with whoever they perceive as best), and although I have run a lot of groups recently, it's just something I can't sustain and that I honestly just don't want to do regularly. AD doesn't have an incentive to play in primetime since they can flip emp at will in the morning and kill the map for the entire afternoon, without any resistance most days. Just now, saw 2 EPs an 3 DCs try to stop a de-emp and emp at BRK against an unusually lean 12-15 ADSS group.

Just to clarify, there are 12 of us, and we play at this time cause it is between work and sleep. Turns out that there are timezones, and that 'primetime' is different depending on where you are in the world. We do not log on now to avoid fighting, or log off for the same reason.

We would welcome others coming and playing in our primetime...

How come you guys disappear every time there is resistance though? And by resistance, I mean more than the couple of stray DCs and EPs up at that time of the day.

Oh and FYI I've seen you guys run with like 30 at 6AM, so dont give me this 'we only run 12 BS'. Spoke with Janessa the other day and she was like 'oh well at most, we had 18 guildies, so it's not that big a deal...'. 18 guildies at like 6-10AM is over 3 x the pop of the whole server most days, and that's not even counting the AD pugs.

As I told her, you guys will get bored real quick eventuallyonce you will have flipped emp for everybody. You are not the first guild to morning cap everything, although I will say you are the first in a long time to log in specifically when the map is dead instead of slogging it through the night.

It is really hard for me to stay in Kyne these days. Dysfunctional DC players doesn't make good PvP.

You seem to be missing the point that it is not 6AM for us. And my reference to 12 of us was cause there were 12 of us today. So not BS just an accurate count of our group.

And again, we do not ‘log in specifically when the map is dead’. I log in after i get home from work and after I have had dinner, I log off when I need to sleep. The fact that we do not all ‘slog through the night’ is because we have actual jobs...

Actually, I am just going to jump on the bandwagon.

How dare EP and DC play at times when we are asleep!!! I have lost count of the times I log on and the whole map is red or blue!!!!! Why do all but a few of you log off as soon as you meet resistance from us???

Why do you refuse to play during our prime time?

Repeating myself here from a few pages back but... the campaign has a primetime. You do not. Yes, it is the time of the day where Australians play, indeed. That being said, as far as I know, Australians are not restricted to playing AD only. Yet here we are, with about 15-30 people playing on one faction while both DC and EP can at best gather up 6-8 at that time. That's because not a single guild runs at these times, yet yours does. With no serious opposition, every single day.

And as far as the 'we would like if people played at our time', it's complete BS. We held Nik for about an hour the other day with 8 people. You guys were around; we know because we rode for the outpost after getting double coldfired and camped by emp and group at Rayles/Warden when you had every ressources and keeps on the map. Yet not a single time did you try to go for the outpost, because obviously we were defending it. You waited til we were bored and went to Brindle, a stage 5 keep like all the other keeps at the map at this point, to defend. We messaged you guys, saying we wanted some fights, that we were getting bored. In the words of your GM, 'I have some repairs to do'. We eventually got bored and left for Sej. Guess what? This is when you guys moved for Nik.

I don't play the campaign anymore, but I still pop into the thread because it's interesting to see how these things evolve - do these Aussies not like fighting folks? That's sort of the reason why I PvP...

I don't really count running in groups where we outnumber opponents as a fun time, but I guess it can be socially rewarding. I do tend to play solo because like you Aussies I play generally outside of PC/NA primetime. Given that fights are rare during those times, it seems even less rewarding from a PvP-perspective to just roll over groups/keeps unless your goal is to just flip an empty map to feel good about yourself.

You all could always... you know, split up, play a different campaign. It seems like the Aussies/Oceanic pop all pick their respective servers to get their hollow victories of nightcaps. It'd be wild if you guys just actually fought each other. Vivec generally has 24 hour fighting of at least 2 bars, Shor has an avid night/morning cap EP group, and Sotha probably isn't a good option if you fellas are AD-focused. If you're committed to fighting in the non-vet campaign (which at this point I feel is a bit wrong to reroll because vet PvP is remarkably balanced besides earthgore, incap strike being overloaded, and shimmering shield pre-cost nerf) then just spread out to other alliances so you can small group and get satisfying fights.

Then again, I hear your toilets flush in the opposite direction and some of you like Vegemite so I guess you're kinda different. It's probably the constant fight against snakes and spiders that make you want to find an easier, more relaxing fight in ESO.

    Dear Gabriebe (Blue moaner)
Here's something for you to consider... the money I pay monthly for this game is every bit as good as yours! There is no set prime time that we all have to play. Think yourself lucky in America that maintenance does not happen weekly during your prime time after work, as it does in ours. I log in after work (in Australia) and look forward to seeing a fully blue or red map, as I get a chance to fight to make it yellow. It's much more fun when blues or reds are there, as I can kill them and enjoy the salty whispers as a result. I then go to bed at around midnight Aussie time so I can function at work in the morning - not to upset your precious sensibilities.

When AD get "team Purpled" on a regular basis, you don't hear me whinge and whine about it. Can't believe you are seriously having a moan about the map not being blue 24hrs - lol. The better question to pose, would be as to how blues and reds change faction at the drop of a hat depending who's winning at the time. I've seen Gabriebe on BOTH factions - very noble indeed. How about a cool-down for 24hrs (or more) before you can take a character of a different faction into the same campaign. Better still, lock it for the whole campaign...? Why doesn't Gabriebe use their considerable charm and influence to recruit Aussies into their guild, or indeed stay up to play in our prime time?

It's clearly a numbers game, and when I see a completely red or blue map, I don't for a second believe it's all due to superior tactics or technique, but indeed a rather large zerg sweeping over the map. Unlike some, I don't whinge and cry about it. It is an Alliance War after all, and not a duel or battlegrounds. Get a grip and grow up.

@gabriebe has characters on all factions, I think. He is not limited to moaning on DC.

Nobody’s saying you aren’t allowed to play. They just are suggesting that if the oceanic demographic split up a little it’d likely be more satisfying to you and others because instead of concentrating 10-20 players on one alliance you have nice small group action against 3-6 players per alliance. With defensive NPCs in a no-CP environment that keeps things from being too unbalanced. Obviously, it’s hard to tell a social group to fracture across alliances, but if you’re pug herding then maybe roll against the pugs. It is nonvet, so you can get a character ready in under 2 hours on another alliance.

On the subject of "why Kyne" some of you fine people in the good old US of A do not realise the affects of Australian bad ping. In Kyne, I rarely get below 400, and some NB's have run three rings around me before I have time to do anything. The issue is much worse in Vivec and unplayable for me. I don't profess to being God-like (Adenoma) and manage to survive reasonably ok. Makes me laugh when people on 60 ping try and tell us where & when to play!

I’m not god like. I have not quite that bad ping, but can’t generally get under 200 and play on the minimum settings using a MacBook Pro. Shor functions just fine for me and there’s a much larger non-AD pop at night.

I'm not buying it. The 12 of you can't be the only people in Australia that play during your prime time. Night cap groups have always fallen back on the ping issue. Been an excuse since launch. But if you go to Vivec during your prime time there are a ton of people playing from your time zone.

I haven't run a character in another faction in Kyne in over 6 months. I might give AD a try again though. Would be hilarious to see you guys emp me.

Reality is you guys got a little emp farm going, and PvP isnt what you're there for. Unless you consider dropping coldfires open field when it's 5 of us against about 12 of you with your emp fair PvP. I'd also point out that *** internet is not an Aussie exclusive either. I'd say a lot of the Kyne old timers are there because they have bad internet too.
