The level of disconnection between your game directors, developers, community representatives, and customers is mind blowing. We hear one thing from wrobel, something entirely different from gina, and then stances do a complete 180 two weeks later. Does anyone actually know what the hell they're doing? Is there any infrastructure to your company, any quality control, any oversight?
We're sick of hearing you'll do this, or you'll do that, only to have it put off patch after patch after patch. Meanwhile, as your entire community is waiting for things to be set right after being told that's what was going to happen, all we see is more crown store releases trying to milk our wallets and distract from the real issues.
I've been holding out for well over a year now waiting for the base game changes we were told were coming to actually show up, and we've been misled once again. Give us a reason to believe you for once, because my patience has run out, I'm tired of paying for a broken product and as a customer I'm tired of being taken advantage of. Zenimax has lost all credibility and good faith from me, my subscription is done and you're not getting this customer back until something is done to warrant it.
Look at what Bungi got away with, I'm not saying Zenimax is as bad as bungi but people keep giving them money before hand so why would they? If the money dried up you bet they would change in a hart beat, but the player base is all about instant gratification and as long as they can log in and jump on the hampster wheel doing there dailys and the running the dungeons in the same way again and again... where is the incentive for Zenimax to dip in to the profits and keep things freash and fun?
@SydneyGrey Glad to see you really contributing to this thread... oh wait nvm.
@Lynx7386 I'm absolutely heated & I'm trying to control it but man it just baffles me that people literally stick to ZOS white knighting them at every bit of outrage (rightfully so) directed at them. We were promised balance changes with 4.03 then boom we were told pretty much to F off while our feedback that we wasted our damn time creating is supposedly appreciated yet none of it was shown whatsoever.
This brings me back to my previous thread that I posted which featured me raging before the PTS came out. A lot of players stated something about Streamer X said this/that... They do fail to realize that streamers need access to further their careers on the gaming platform so when a streamer who visited ZOS stated "DKs are in a awesome spot" and stupidly spoke about changes to stonefist... yeah ofc I took that with a grain of salt.
I'm tired of the lack of transparency this game provides & I really wish a Destiny 2 style revolt would take place here, maybe when their damn bank is hurting they'll start to actually engage and communicate properly.
ZoS does not care about bots, ignoring reports and still officials like @ZOS_GinaBruno and others claim ZOS would fight and ban bots. Not true, the problem becoms bigger and bigger each day. Therefor i skipped my eso+ early this year
Bots are in every active MMO. People are buying gold/mats/gear for real money, so the bots will always exist. They make more than enough money to instantly buy new accounts every time they get banned.

If there was a Destiny 2 style revolt, I just hope to god ZoS would listen to the player base, rather than ignore them like Bungo and keep pushing out crap like everything is just fine.

I've been gaming for over 20 years and I've seen the cancer of greed completely destroy this industry.
We've gone from an era of gaming where microtransactions were unheard of to one where you're hard pressed to find a game without them.
We've gone from having game developers actively engaged in communication with their players and genuinely caring about the experience to companies that package and sell junk while labelling it gold, shut down anyone saying anything negative about it, and lying to your face when you call them out on these practices.
This *** has to stop, and the sooner the white knights stop defending those who are blatantly taking advantage of them, the sooner that cancer will wither and fade. I doubt it will ever happen, though, because too many of these people are all too happy to bend over and get reamed while saying thank you for it.
Customer service does not mean the customers serve you.
Band Camp statements: To state "But this one time I saw X doing X... so that justifies X" Refers to the Band camp statement.

You know damn well white knights aren't going to stop trying to earn brownie points from the developers in hopes they'll be rewarded. They spew ridiculous nonsense & make statements like "It feels fine to me so stop complaining" as if that's a valid refute to ones discussion.
Edit: prime example right above my post.

zos is genuinely caring about its playerbase they actually care about what we say people just want the impossible to happen like balance changes that needs a while to be fixed and worked on. and ive been in the gaming world a bit longer than you have and what your comparing zos to is not what zos is which i know who your comparing them to which is EA. sorry but i have to whole heartly disagree with you on that. EA doesnt talk at all and just gives out what they want us to do not what we say is wrong. zos does the complete polar opposite which is why alot of us have no problem supporting them. ZOS yes may take time to fix or add things players are saying are broken or want added but they do eventually add them. people wanted housing and jewelry crafting from day one of eso guess what we have now housing and jewelry crafting is coming. peoples main gripe right now class balancing if you ask me in the current build of the game class balance is currently just fine. but zos has already confirmed that they are working on it as a whole its going to take a lot of testing to make sure nothing gets messed up so your looking at maybe another year worth of work to be done on that. you gotta give games time you cant expect them to be done super fast.

You're naive. We've been told a dozen times between morrowind and now that class balance changes were going to be worked on. If any work had actually been done on that front, we would have it on the pts for summerset.
The problem here is people like yourself keep believing the lies zos is feeding you.
To be fair, it does take ZOS a helluva long time to implement stuff that everyone wants. I've played this game for over four years (as many have), and you have to realize where in the timeline something as basic as player housing was first introduced. I mean, people were talking about how player housing was going to be put in the game when ESO was still in beta.
However, they did eventually introduce player housing. They did introduce the outfit system. They implemented dyes. They're finally giving us jewelry crafting. It takes them a while, but ZOS can by and large be counted on to actually fulfill their promises, unlike many developers, and the stuff is usually implemented pretty well besides, honestly.
I'd also rather they tell us about what they're thinking about doing, what they want to do, and have our input on the matter far ahead of time, instead of just not telling us about all that stuff until right at release. I mean, game development takes time - that's just a fact; you can't change that - but transparency isn't common, so I'm glad ZOS has that.It would be nice if they were more transparent with their monetization strategies though. Damn crown crates...

Don't use a blatantly false hasty generalization that fits your narrow minded desires of what you want an MMO to be.

i forgot the outfit system but i never really remember many people asking about it on the forums but i know in my guilds we use to talk about having a transmog system almost daily.

Which changes are you referring to, specifically?
Gina Bruno stated their will be no balance changes for the remainder of the pts and now we will have to wait till the next major update.
Which will be probably never.
Seriously. They were supposed to have announced the class reps last month, that passed in silence. They were supposed to do class balance changes this PTS, that passed.
If there's one thing you can bet on with ZOS, it's that they'll fail their deadline.

We just want you to understand that your "class balance" obsession isn't a priority. At all. To most of us. Rather the opposite.
Average person's capability to run a mile?
Average intelligence?
Average motivation?
Average weight?
Average care for environment?
List goes on.
Therefor, when you say "most of us don't care" you're telling me that it's absolutely something I should care about, because what keeps the general population sated isn't enough for people who are actually good at things. [Snip].
[/b][/i]No. I play MMOs for the unique offering of cooperative competition. Every half decent MMO I've played has offered this. This is an MMORPG. Not a MOBA.
If you want competition focused game design couple with precise class balance, go play a MOBA. Thank you.
