Selling surplus items I get from other activities, for example more uncommon recipes, furnishing plans, and set items I get while questing, dungeon motifs from pledges on guild stores; rarely I list crafted items such as legendary glyphs, or surplus rosin - that gets used less since you only have staves to upgrade so I always have more than the others. Also I do writs on multiple characters, currently 14 for 4K gold each; those save gold in the long run since I get a steady stream of legendary upgrades I would otherwise have to buy, as well as vouchers from master writs that are in turn used to buy other items, some for resale. The price of materials for doing writs is not that high, since I buy refined in bulk, at steep discounts, from more remote guild kiosks. Regarding master writs, those can be profitable as well. For example when Dragonbones released I bought the coffers then I also bought a bunch of purple Morrowind envelopes and sold the duplicate furnishing plans for 65-100K apiece, before the price declined, presumably because lots of people were doing the same. I never flip items intentionally, the only instance I had to was when I was searching for my last page of Ebonshadow, and for some reason the game didn't mark it as learned, so I ended up buying a duplicate by mistake; I didn't make a profit, but at least I didn't waste those 10K, since I sold it for 10.5K

1) Upcoming Double-AP/Tel Var event.
2) Farm Tel Var when your Alliance owns all/most of the Districts.
3) Grind for about an hour, then go back to your Home Base and bank it all.
4) Get ganked outside your Alliance's Home Base and lose 1/2 of it.
5) Leave IC.
6) Find 3 Skyshards.
7) Unlock Magelight.
8) Find the ganker, and exact your revenge.
9) Farm more Tel Var.
10) Return to your Alliance's Home Base.
11) Don't get ganked.
12) Buy a metric [snip]-ton of Alchemy Satchels.
13) List all reagents/ingredients at just under the MM price in all of your Guild Stores.
14) ?????
15) Profit.

I do writs on 15 characters, and also am usually doing heavy questing on at least one character. This morning when I logged out before maintenance, I had just over 2 mill in the bank. Trying to save up a bit to get my second 'coin bought' manor, the Daggerfall Overlook (I have a few crown bought ones: Linchal Grand Manor, Tel Galen, Erstwhile Sanctuary, Earthtear Cavern, and the Observatory Prior) and used gold almost a year ago to grab up the Ebonheart Chateau, as well as having a smattering of other houses. But as, at this point, my actual mastercrafter has all motifs currently available, I can save up a lot of money for houses, for the moment.

Yeah perfect roe is a great reason to fish. But I haven't sold any of mine. And since discovering Clockwork City angling I have a lot. It seems to desecrate the ethics of becoming a master angler. This is the only pure pursuit (outside of trying to get Queen Ayrenn to smile in my direction) in the game, it would be like melting down the Holy Grail after questing half of Celtic Britannia for gold, assuming it isn't a wooden/pewter cup. Um...what's the going rate?
