And who the Hell buys the $199 pack when you can get 4 packs of 5500–EXACTLY THE SAME AMOUNT FOR LESS? It baffles me that this is even an option.
Wasn't this bad when the Crown store came out, but since that Bioware employee joined things just went down hill
August, 2017:
$23.99 - 5500 ($4.36/1K)
$59.99 - 14000 ($4.29/1K)
$89.99 - 21000 ($4.29/1K)
December, 2017:
$26.79 - 5500 ($4.87/1K)
$59.99 - 14000 ($4.29/1K)
$75.00 - 21000 ($3.57/1K)
May, 2018:
$31.99 - 5500 ($5.81/1K)
$79.99 - 14000 ($5.71/1K)
$119.99 - 21000 ($5.71/1K)
This is a 33-60% price increase. But are we getting 33-60% more value out of our crowns?
Fun fact: During last year's Valentine's Day, the wedding dress and suit were discounted 50% in the Crown Store. This year, they were discounted less--I can't remember the exact amount, but I think it was somewhere between 30 and 40%. So looking at just that one example, we see less purchasing power of Crowns. And now a higher Crown price.

Only thing worse than the company is a whale willing to pay it

No the tears in the forums from all the complainers is by far the worst thing on video games today.

Not really, the tears is what save the MMO's, cause the ones that are still in good shape today listen to the player base.

Negative pal the forums in every single MMO are the vocal minority. There is always an uproar but sure every once awhile something is changed because of the tears. 99% of players nevet step foot in forums and all forums today are nothing but doom and gloom tears its rather pathetic.

How do you know they're not tearing in game ? Doesn't matter where it happens if the game doesn't listen to the player base it ends up bad. Look at SWTOR for instance just during the last expansion hit nearly 60% of the game quit being how lazy EA was with all the server merges, they didn't listen and now look what's happenend.
Swtor had about 250 servers 7 years ago, it has now 5 servers total.
Even Lotro has 10 servers and Lotro was out 4 years before Swtor came out.

Wow had to add cross realm play what is your point? Every mmo ever created as lost players and the negativity those like you bring every day doesnt help getting people to stay. Your negative doom and gloom carries over to ingame and creates a toxic environment for the rest of the players. Players today move from game to game yet all the forums are sad, pathetic doom and gloom parties.

You actually believe there's more toxicity on the forums than in the game itself?
