This event was a HUGE success. In just a week of organizing, I had 11 guilds RSVP to come and 9 show up, each with 5-9 members rotating in 4v4-6v6 fights. I estimate over 40 active participants with almost as many spectators present -- ballparking 75 total people on location for a solid two and a half hours. Zele and Fengrush streamed the event, and I was told afterward that Fengrush had around 500 viewers throughout. Sick!

@Thogard has posted a video of his group's action in a comment below, and I'm sure others will post some fights on their respective channels as well. I don't have the internet to support making videos myself right now, but check out some screenshots I snapped!

As of early last week, existing GvG programs have requested to merge with Legend. @Irylia and other community leaders have agreed to converge into one place with the goal of increasing participation and reducing outdated stigmas lingering in the community. I will be overseeing organization of events going forward and employing my resources built within Legend in order to help foster a fun, relaxed, and active GvG community.

Our dueling community is known for tight organization, fun events, friendly competition, and low drama, and now we're expanding that culture into GvGs. All parties are cooperating actively together, and things are looking good! It'll be fun!

This is a new community within the Legend umbrella, based out of our Discord but not necessarily within the in-game Legend guild. Although there will be a lot of overlap, the guild simply doesn't have enough space for everybody... You do not need to be a guild member to participate in GvGs!

Group size will be 3v3-6v6
We're aiming for 6v6s, but group sizes will adjust based on player availability. All matches will be between groups of even sizes. We intend to host events for larger groups in the future if they are desired.

Round robin style
This is not a tournament with brackets. All groups are promised 5 fights versus every other group -- we are here for the fights themselves. The Legend leadership team and I will be coordinating 2 or 3 simultaneous matches out of healing range of spectators and each other.

We will ask groups with other-faction alts to come on underrepresented factions. I cannot promise balanced faction representation, but I will do my best to keep them from being one-sided.

Prizes!

• 2 million gold split evenly among all participating groups
• 50 tripots or immov+speed pots for each Legend guild member who comes as part of a non-guild pickup group
• Recognition, learning, meeting other players, and a good time!

Combat Rules

• All players dump ults at the start of each match
• No crouch stealth
• No cost increasing poisons (magicka, stamina, or ult)
• One each of resto ult, snb ult, tree ult, and Corrosive Armor per team
• No Guard
• No ressing
• One Pirate Skeleton, Troll King, and Zaan per team
• No Meridia's Blessed, Shieldbreaker, Earthgore, or Vaguard's Challenge

These rules are preliminary and subject to change prior to the event. Groups who decline to comply with these rules will be denied additional matches.

Recording and Matchup Rules

• Feel free to record whatever you like, but no uploading videos with the intention or appearance of intending to humiliate.
• Groups may request that recordings of their fights not be uploaded or shared. No uploading or sharing their fights.
• Groups may decline to fight other groups. No antagonizing groups who decline to fight others.

Players or groups who violate these rules will be excluded from future events.
