I still miss my zoom-zoom vampire NB farmer.

Concealed weapon + steed is okay, but it doesn't compare to being able to loop around Craglorn at speed or doing recon around a scroll run.

Yeah exactly. There's so many uses for speed, for me the biggest reason was having fun. I had alot of fun running around at max speed.

And with those jewellery traits coming soon i would love to run around 30% faster than my previous max speed. that would be amazing..

I'd vote no for pvp for sure and not sure the point of it in pve. We get around pretty fast already.

Concealed weapon speed buff works only when sneaking/invis, and sprinting breaks stealth, so while maybe good for ganking, you are FAR from speed cap.

So guessing the optimal of all builds for speed would be:

-Fiords
-Cowards Gear (since you can’t cast rapids in WW form)
-Orc
-Windrunning passive from Green CP tree /maxed out “Sprinter”
-Stam Sorc, though you can’t recast hurricane in WW form
-Steed Mundus
-WW (obviously)
-Then just all points in Stam, and Max Stam/Stam Recov blue food.

Missing anything?

Then add said cap in BG's (like originally intended) and when picking up any form of delivery item (Scrolls in Cyro, Relics or chaosball in BG's, which is not needed if theres a global cap in BGs ofc)

Probably obvious to most but I'd add: full medium armor with divine enchants.

As far as i've seen and tested (and i have tested a HELLL OF a LOT of speed builds. trust me), divines only increases the health regen provided by Steed. it doesn't increase the 5% movement speed.
I might be wrong, but i highly doubt it.

Agree. What happens in BG should stay in BG. It must not affect anything outside. Either remove the speedcap outside or remove BG.

Im guessing some might be to slow down the speed hackers. I am totally fine with a speed cap. I would also be totally fine with a stat cap but maybe that is just me.

Day 74821: Speedcap is still there, light has fade from tamriel. Everyone around me is dead. they all died a ...slow death. 200% to be exact. Is there still hope left?

honestly keep the speedcap. its annoying to see someone fast asf because people can barely hit you (trash ass lag) until there 5 snares. In BGS people would just cheese some gamemodes cause they were so fast. when i say 0 counterplay i mean i used 30k stamina on gap closers and hit him 3 times. PVE yes, PVP no (yes, if they fix servers so there is minimal lag)

As stated multiple times. Hardcap on speed should be kept within BGs and scroll carrying (Cyro), but other than that there's no point. Yes, it can "outrun" gap closers, but what other counter is there for a gap closer other than remaking the gap?

500 units per second as in 200% speed. As far as ""needing" 2x the base speed anyway, really"

It adds diversity and fun, at least in my opinion. especially the latter. i really enjoyed running around in cyrodiil at insane speeds. works as a very good distraction for pug groups too. x)
