Pay to craft faster. Your not winning anything, except maybe making more money selling the goodies.

Anyone else think its kind of P2w for the time most of everyone put into?

Not "pay to win" since it isn't a competition, but definitely crap "grind avoidance" because the game itself is too grindy.

Its no different than the XP Scrolls. Honestly Ive seen real P2W in games and this doesnt even scratch the surface. A new player right now is far behind any crafter that has been at this for any amount of time longer than them. Be it days or years. This in no way makes a player able to have an advantage over anyone else as there is already players with these traits unlocked.

It's just confusing how they could just crap on people that have stuck with the game for years accomplishing the 9 trait crafter the way it should be and has been for 3 years, yet now they do this?

That's like saying the transmute system craps on players who had to grind gear the hard way. It doesn't. It applies a fix to a glaring problem with the game's grind-based design, and these scrolls are no different in that regard.
"I haven't really played much yet, but lemme tell you all about how the game should include X and be a lot more like Y!" - Half the posters on this forum.
"I've been here for years, and lemme tell you all about how they should never change or evolve Z, because then the game would be ruined forever." - The other half of posters on this forum.

Except the transmute system can at least be used without paying for a consumable. You just buy Clockwork City one time, or have a friend/guild with the station in their house.
Those research scrolls are just grind avoidance that is overpriced crap.

I just can't believe some people are going to spend hundreds of dollars to instantly max jewelcrafting on day one. I guess it's the price for having the "experience" of being first.
