I met TES with Skyrim and played a lot of it, then played oblivion a lot too, but didn't played morrowind very much because the gameplay was torturing me. Seemed like (and after some research I know it is) a very interesting game story-wise. Nonetheless, fell in love with Elder Scrolls. Also read a lot of the lore. Got ULTRA hyped up with ESO for some reason and beta-tested it, pre-ordered it, played for a few months but dropped it because the game was kinda broken back then, came back recently and I'm glad to see how much it improved.

Played Oblivion (exclusively) from 2007 -2014. Played Skyrim (exclusively) from 2014-2016. Been playing ESO (exclusively) since 2016.

My real love is massive scale single player medieval fantasy open world rpg. What drew me to ESO was its mass and scale - much, much bigger than Oblivion or Skyrim - and that quite matters when you spend years exclusively in one game. That ESO is an MMO is a drawback that I live with.

At first, I thought that Skyrim is an overhyped game, but my friend got me excited. I played something like 100 hours on my friend's PS3 and then I bought it for myself and played some 400 hours on my ps3. Then I got it on PC and guess what? Played for 600 hours (with mods). Then I got Oblivion and Morrowind and played both of them for 100 hours.

After 3 (?) years my another friend invited me to closed-beta and I enjoyed it. I bought ESO a year after the launch, because I didn't have enough 'unallocated' money.

PS. I think Oblivion had the best Dark Brotherhood questline, because optional goals had a meaningful price attached and the story was good.

Started at Skyrim and thought it was a great game then got Oblivion and enjoyed it. Put a preorder in for ESO when it became available and been here ever since. Orginally played ESO only in 1st person for a couple of months(how I played Skyrim) before switching to 3rd person.

I have played Oblivion a few years back but I personally never finished it. Xbox 360 was probably not the best experience. I managed to get through Skyrim though.

I really enjoy TES lore and strived to learn more about the world after playing Skyrim when my cousin introduced me to the game around the time it was new. It really is a unique world with rich and interesting history as well as cultures. I just find it all fascinating as I enjoy writing myself.

Being a console player, MMOs are hard to come by but when I heard about ESO, I was open minded about it as it was something I had never played before. I did play the beta on the lowest settings possible on my computer. My character was a Wood Elf Templar who I role played in my mind was sort of a sea fairer or pirate. I eventually got it for PS4 when it came out and took a long hiatus from it before any DLC came out. Back then, it was hard to level up. I remember getting to Level 30 took me so long and my build was was terrible. In fact, I do not think I really used my abilities at all...

I didn't know TES before Skyrim. I've loved it, it was logical to me to go to ESO when it came out.

Now, I think I love Skyrim to explore, I love ESO to be challenged.

I really only started with Skyrim, and tbh I didn't play for awhile after I beta-tested. After I learned ESO had controller support, I've played the [snip] out of the game ever since.

If you select one of the first 3 options, you must have played it from it's release year, not someone who played Morrowind after Skyrim etc.

my exboyfriend told me to play it, so i started playing it and i got sucked up so hard in the game, that the relation broke :O

There’s a fundamental error in your options: a person can be a long term fan of the series AND a long term player of multiple MMOs. I’ve played close to 20 MMOs in the last 20 years, more than one at a time. But, I’ve also been a hardcore TES fan since a friend handed me MW, swearing I’d love it! That was back in 2004, I think... so, I count as two of your options.

Played TES from Daggerfall. But has always tried Arena and Redguard. :dizzy:
Only game i have missed are the mobile TES.

I would really like to see ESO look more to the lore and make some RPG elements rather then always look at the standard MMO games and just add more items all the time. Really like to see some social things in the taverns and stuff like that.

I discovered TES thanks to my best friend who let me play Oblivion like 10 years ago. Then I start searching for info about the games and found Morrowind and the others. I remember when Skyrim was announced, I nearly cry because I really like it (And still do oc). I kept money for a year to bought it. For me discovering TES was like a revelation, those games give me the motivation to study 3D modelling and videogame design.

So when they announced ESO it was like Skyrim. I reserved the Imperial Edition and fell in love again with the saga.
