I agree, CC in pvp/pve is bad right now. And especially magicka builds are feeling it.

welcome to the CC immunity nerf which came with Dragon Bones.
even worse is that roots and snares are exceptions to CC immunity, which makes zero sense imo.
You get stunned, break free then you get snared and rooted, so you have also to make a dodgeroll....wtf is this.

In PvE every enemy is either snaring, stunning or knocking you back. In PvP it's the same. Crowd control everywhere. And the worst part about it is the buggy diminishing return / break free system. PvP is stun, stun, stun, kick, knock back, stun, stun, knock back.
Don't get me wrong, CC is absolutely necessary and makes the game more challenging. But at the moment it's make-or-break and it's no fun.
Can someone explain to me when CC got ouf of control? *pun intended*

Fully agree.
I mostly play BGs where you get stunned, knocked backed, feared, chained and rooted all within one minute.
Even if you can deal with all of that, you’re still being snared by 70% afterwards.
Fast-paced combat, Zenimax? I don’t think so.

Having dks rely on whip is a bad mechanic anyway, reducing us to a one trick pony. Whip should be released from cc and off balance, and proc off something else instead. That dks have to rely on a morph proc to even be viable in pvp just shows how poor the class has become by now.
