    Hmmm some good points here. I run a costume and have used outfit to change the weapons. Wonder if it is just lag related :(

    What of the issues of resources getting drained and sometimes costs seem massively increased for skills? Making sustain nonexistant even at 2k and up regen? @ZOS_JessicaFolsom

    Had this as well. Was just Standing and suddenly my Stam drained a bit, wasn't even in combat or moving

    I have noticed this with magica many times on console and pc. This is not new with the patch and has been happening for months.

    I will say, if you have a synergize ability up to press x, and you get cc'd, you can't break free untill that x disappears. So untill someone else uses the synergy, or it expires. From my experience. Cheers.

    It’s supposed to be 2 seconds. But you’re right - I often get rooted right after a dodge roll too. I hate to admit it (as it nets me many kills) but Rune Cage is absolutely borked too. The animation is really wonky. I’ve had bad players eat the whole duration and good players breaking free after 2 seconds. It’s really an issue that can’t be explained away with targets being out of stamina. It’s too frequent for that.

    - Break free sometimes not working although at least 50% stamina
    - ressource drain, I am running out of ressources way earlier than prior patch and I am using abilities with less magicka costs now...

    And another swing and a miss, at this point ZOS has struck out the entire side a million times over.

    Still having tons of skills not fire at all when weapon swapping and animation cancelling.

    At this point I'm done with this game since now combat is just mindless zerg button mashing.

    PC:

    -Stuck in sliding animation
    -Floating through air backwards
    *this is a new one I've never seen before Update 17 that seems to be related to pull or snare skills
    -CC break non-responsive at times
    -Resource pool will sometimes fluctuate down while moving normally and not casting any skills

    Thanks everyone. We are aware of a number of combat-related issues that surfaced after the last incremental patch on PC. These issues are most noticeable when animation canceling and bar swapping), so your replies are helpful in understanding if you're experiencing those or something else. We have some fixes going into next week's PC incremental patch that should greatly improve those particular issues. We're looking into the other issues mentioned as well.

    The Werewolf Transformation issue on consoles is a known issue, and will be fixed with the next incremental patch.


    Does that include the issue regarding the Unchained Passive not working when breaking free in werewolf form?

    If a game does not respect your time, best thing to do is move on from it and find something else.

    Break free is still a problem really. Had about 3 instances of that happening yesterday. And all 3 times resulted in death. 1 instance was where stamina was consumed and yet I was still in hard cc while 2 others are classic full stam no break free. Then there's still clunky barswap where it won't swap for a bit. Game just feels so sluggish.

    We see some of you are on PC, and others on Xbox One (based on forum signature info.) Could you post if you are also experiencing this on PS4 so we have a better understanding if this is happening on all three platforms? Also, did this start with Update 17, or was it happening before then?

    This is happening on all platforms. Hopefully we can get a fix soon, I have noticed that night blades fear has me CC for a very long time and I can't break free.

    Ton of bugs

    Ground sliding
    No root immunity
    Being rooted while dodge rolling
    CC break not working
    Resources being used without the ability firing
    Ults not responding/ult being used without firing

    That's what I've seen this far

    That happens to me constantly and im stam also have a ping of 20* so it is not lag.

    Problems breaking free ... feels real bad man. Until this problem is fixed, the best advice I can give is this: 'avoid going to jail at all costs'.

    Streak is broken, it will determine "Invalid Location" even more often nowadays. Definitely wasn't like that in CwC, if still often enough to be annoying and suicidal.

    JUMP before firing a Frag. It's one reason some sorcs bunnyhop all the time, much to Blob's enjoyment. xD
    Technical reason is that "instant" Frags still utilize a channel calculation, just with a 0 channel. Meaning you must target the enemy when pressing the button and when it actually fires. It's a split second, but with lag and Forward Momentum'ers constantly circling around you, something gets screwn up.
    Now, if you jump, the game apparently gives you a 360 degree FoV for your skills, eliminating most problems with the second targeting point. Still have to aim initially, which can be a pain on console with the awful targeting system. (>~<)

    Yes.. on PS4, having issues from breaking free from fear and other cc/snares like Rune Prison, Talons and Fossilize; pretty much, you can't. Yes, ever with stamina pretty well over 60% or so. Also, maybe it could just be me, or if anyone else been having problem being able to roll out of the DK's talons. I don't know if I'm hitting the buttons correctly or precisely, but I sure have not been able to roll out many times. Same with blocking, I'm pressing for block, but I still get knocked down by a Dizzying Swing or getting a lot more damages, while stuck and was not able to roll out of the talons, but supposedly holding block out. I don't know.. too many fiasco and crapshoots going about with PvP that it's difficult to keep track.

    Trying to break free of fear or Sleet Storm is so buggy right now, using them could theoretically be called exploiting, as in you know it’s broke, but you use it anyway. In Vivec, my FPS could be just fine, my ping low, but when the 12-man ball group runs over me and fears me, it takes me 3-5+ seconds to break the fear, which means I’m already dead. I only recently returned to Vivec after messing around in non-CP PvP, and I don’t know how the regulars can deal with the lag. It’s just unplayable sometimes.

    Reverb bash is also incredibly buggy as far as breaking free goes. You get bashed, your characters flails like a newly born giraffe, you hit break free, your character proceeds to flail like a moron and only after that second animation starts to think about actually breaking free.

    Reverb spam is already broken enough as it is with the 10 second major defile... this just makes it that much worse.

    Happening before and after. More so after. Fossilize is doing some weird double cc thing. Literally broke free and was instant cc again.

    You are aware fossilize is in fact a double cc? Stun + root. You have to break free, then dodge.

    I've had issues with templar javelins, both being knocked back twice in a row and not being able to break free from the knockdown for about 2 seconds.

    [edit] I found out i actually have a video of the latter. Got knocked down by binding javelin and the game ignored my hammering of the CC break button (with full stamina) until my character almost got up from the knockdown on his own:

    To me it looks like the game prioritizes the "being stunned" animation(arms flailing, or lying on the ground etc.) and does not allow you to start the break free animation until the former completes.

    It’s that you don’t get CC immunity from breaking free of the first part of a “double CC”

    A double CC being a CC with two separate animations.

    There are three I can think of off the top of my head - javelin, draining shot, and vamp stun. The first two are a knockback followed up by a stun. If you break free during the knockback, you’ll still be stunned

    The vamp CC is weird in its own way.

    Interesting. But still, in the video you can see that i did not break free during the knockback. I did not break free at all, until both the knockback animation and almost the whole stun animation (lying on the back) have completely played - all while i was hammering the CC break button. Hence my theory of the game prioritizing the "CC-ed" animation and not letting you break free until it at least partially plays out.

    Power bash is similar in this way - you can not break free from it until your character has done at lease some of the "flailing arms" animation.
