On Scalecaller, stand between two dragons and side step the AoE and the fire balls that's it.

If you stand anywhere else you're in stupid

The last boss shouldn't take 3 days to beat

Put away the darn skoomah and pay attention!

    Plus if your DPS is fast enough, then you will hit add phase (it will go from the fire you block off others, to adds directly) before poison spray. We almost never even have spray til nearer the end of the fight.

    the only issues i have with scalecaller peak is hard mode, the poison spray is really fast, not impossible but really unforgiving, and the aoe's you need to stand in to survive the one shot mechanic they feel unresponsive.

    This so much! And also the synergy for the Zaans green shield thing (on HM for those who don't know, in Zaans shield, there is a synergy you have to activate) fails sometimes.

    I also think there is a CD on the orb stone because we've had a DD got stoned right before that phase and the tank was legit standing in the beam aoe and never got stoned....
    I really think the patch that made the stoning easier actually made the HM harder, because if that even barely touch you now, rekt.

    What dps mechanik? Tell me just one that is left in a 4 player dungeon. People make no death runs with phönix and yokeda in the case rng is not your friend.

    I have done the stupid HM. It is a mess. Its RNG, lag causes deaths out of the area, and before the telegraph. And its rather ranged biased, since they can stay in position and deal with the mechanics, for instance the pillar, or the adds whilst maintaining enough distance to not get rip'd when someone has fire. I see "ranged pref" all too constantly.

    Yeah some people used that to cheese - but we are not those people.

    I did have one guy tell me is easier to go 3 dps and tank- I couldn't say if that's true but given my team has amazing dps and Godtank, and they are still getting so much dmg at some points, I cannot see that yet. Will need to investigate further.

    OP, amazing how many don't understand that you don't have to move in that fight as much as people assume.

    Hug the line and you just shift a few steps. Be already behind the tank when Zaan proc's and you've already done half the work for them.

    People tend to overthink a lot of these setups, or they just outright panic.

    Comes down to how self sufficient your group is.

    Kicker is, if they are that self sufficient, they're probably not having issues with respecting mechanics anyway with the usual Trinity setup.

    Shouldn't have to go into content with a healer and dps pre-rocking Kagrenac's...cough...*Dev livestream*..,cough.

    No content should require specific gear setups to complete. Some may make it easier (or cheesier), but it should never be mandatory.

    Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

    Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS

    Most bosses are ranged biased. Fang Lair HM would be so much easier on ranged; FH has entire phases where melee can barely attack; WGT, ICP? Ranged.

    BRF, CoS, and RoM are the only ones that aren't ranged biased.

    Why would someone who thinks they are a great player be so condescending when sharing information. It seems this thread was created to come off as acting superior vs actually providing information that could be helpful to others. Personally glad I play with people more constructive in how they convey such messages.

    In non-HM, it's easy to have everyone stacked on the seam. But in non-HM, it's also easy to push the boss so fast that you don't see poison. I did a 3x DPS run where we literally never saw poison. This was non-HM.

    But in HM, yes, you want to stay on the seam, but sometimes that's not possible. There are too many things going on, and the roaming mechanics deny space and often force people to move out of position. I've gotten Mountain God (with no Phoenix/Yokeda procs), and it definitely feels like luck is a strong component, because we can still wipe on HM due to bad luck with positioning.

    WGT and ICP not exactly, yeah, the bosses move a little, but there is no part where a melee is completely useless due tgo mechanics, such as in vFH, and vSP. (vFL HM is a bit different, crushing shock is important, but a heal can run it and there are no mechanics ranged can effectively ignore)

    And in most cases, the melee DPS matches ranged when having to move/as reward for the threats due to general higher damage. (Unless ur a DK/temp lul) but portions that heavily lock out melee only are bad.

    I don't need any help at all. I could solo Scalecaller if it wasn't for the fact you need more than one player.

    I don't think you understand, I don't need help, I need players that can stay out of the red.

    BTW got a PuG through it last night.

    Of course I was the tank that way only I had to worry about making sure all mechanics were taking care of.
