Can we not cry about everything. This set iis not overperforming by any means. It's more of a gimmick than anything in pvp because you have to build and play around it. And in pve it gives melee mag toons another option.
As I said in the start, CAN WE NOT CRY ABOUT EVERYTHING?

For what exactly do you have to build when
- light and heavy attacks are part of every (!) rotation anyway
- the dmg output doesn't scale on your max resources and damage variables
Oh, I get it. You have to put some CP into the respective star, what you probably would have done anyway.
Or is it that you "have to" slot a gap closer/snare/CC to make it even harder for your opponent to get out of range? But you probably would have done that anyway too.

Current tooltip:
(2 items) When you deal Critical Damage with a Light or Heavy Attack to a nearby enemy, a beam of fire will connect you to your enemy. The beam deals 3440 Flame Damage every 1 second for 5 seconds. Every second, this damage increases by 50%. The beam is broken if the enemy moves 10 meters away from you. This effect can occur every 15 seconds.
Suggested change:
(2 items) When you deal Critical Damage with a Light or Heavy Attack to a nearby enemy, a beam of fire will connect you to your enemy. The beam deals 3440 Flame Damage every 1 second for 9 seconds. Every second, this damage increases by 25%. The beam is broken if the enemy moves 10 meters away from you. This effect can occur every 18 seconds.
Total damage is roughly the same (slightly lower than the original). The set becomes less of a burst set, which makes it less useful in PvP. The longer duration makes it more useful for PvE.

But it is not the player, who is channeling it, so what do you want to interrupt? His armor?
Why not just implement a new game mode for sets like this: PvGear. Might even turn into GvG. Sounds fun ...
Other.
Battlespirit
Undaunted monster sets 2nd bonuses are disabled.
I fixed PvP.
Wow look at all of the ESO players running Zaan, people sure love their ridiculous OP crutches.
Make it bashable or interruptable with a CC, as well as cutting the overall damage and increasing the duration. Do that and people will run it as much as any other proc set.

That vendor really needs to go, it's now selling randomly generated legendary gear which can be changed to any trait.

Except the dungeon isn’t difficult non-HM. And you don’t need to do HM to get the helm.

Most things don’t need to be nerfed, the problem is how the game and CP were changed year or more back
Just remove CP/VR entirely and remove the ability to dump all stats into one, go back to having overcharge apply to stats
Then review scaling as it’s not being done right either.
