100% I have played the game for 4 years now and I have seen people grind CP, buy accounts and it changes nothing they still don't know how to play the game and L2P

Right, because all gold training gear and mythic aetherial ambrosia (40-50,000g per hour or so?) are exactly the kinds of things that new and casual players just have lying around.

New players won't care about CP. By the time they play through the base game, they will either figure out that forcing themselves to catch up asap makes no sense or they will be able to aquire at least that gold training gear.

This as well I know when I first started playing all I cared about was playing, doing quest, playing the story, trying to make a run to pvp land not knowing I had to que to get inside..... I just played the game and got to VR1 and went back to pvp..... and left after knowing VR 1 was the one of the weaker toons to play with and just went back and forth between pvp and pve and just enjoying life inside eso

Then make all purple gear and max your cp in 2 weeks instead of 1. You will still be a worthless player that noone wants to group with. CP should be a sign of skill, as it is now with all the skyreach grinding lowlvls, CPs dont mean much anymore. And if it would be buyable wich i hope will NEVER happen then CPs will loose all its meaning.

Who runs legendary training gear anyway? Also 4 Psijic Ambrosias are roughly 10-12k and last 50 minutes each with passives. You earn plenty of gold in this game from selling junk.

As others have said, there already is a catch up mechanic, CPs are front loaded, there is also enlightenment and XP events.

4 days of how many hours per day? And how many Skyreach runs? Enough to make you want to quit the game out of boredom?

If you are only playing the game to make your CP number go up, you deserve to be bored. You will also deserve all the vote kicks you are going to get because you are joining max content without ever having learned how to play.

I’ve played games where credit card heroes could push that max for cash button. They left the game bored and frustrated because they had nothing to work for and no one would group with them.

This is spot on. With enlightenment, I gain 2-3 levels with a random daily dungeon. I'm only at 430, but for what I get to play, I feel like I'm catching up quite well. I have taken a few breaks since starting my new account last year (bought the gold edition for $30 on sale), and I don't get to play as much as I used to, but the catch up mechanic seems quite fair. Please do not suggest buying CP for gold or money, it's a horribly slippery slope from there.

Just because you can't does not mean it's cheating or anything like that it comes down to L2P

There already is a CP catchup mechanic. The exp required per level drops every time the cap increases. Nothing else is needed or acceptable to the player base who earned their CP.

Whoop dee doo, what has this got to do with new players being overwhelmed by the stupid CP system?
I have 3 PSN accounts and a PC account since Beta but that has nothing to do with the subject.

Any new player can look up videos on YouTube and find ways to make this easy game even easier. Is gold hard to get? Look up a video 50k gold every 20 mins. Is grinding hard? 0 CP to CAP in a matter of days no one is overwhelmed in this game unless you don't understand how to play it and where to look for help at. And why do you have 3 PSN accounts do you sell gold? Or sell accounts? Are you doing something that goes against the TOS?? maybe someone should look into that cuz there is no reason ANYONE should have that many you just need 1 account for PS4 one for NA and EU same for PC and Xbox unless you're up to something......

The more ZOS makes it easier for people to level, the more people are going to demand it to be made easier. ZOS created this monster, which is why I continually complain about how easy it is to level up now, with xp pots, xp scrolls and xp events.

People are lazy and just want things handed to them. Meanwhile, those of us who have spent time getting to know how to play this game have to put up with these sorry people who level up a toon to cp160 in a few days, who don't know how to play their toon or have all their needed skills leveled but expect better players who have invested the time in getting good to carry them through a dungeon or a trial so they can get the monster helm or gear they want.Then they scream "CP elitist!!!"when you try to explain why they aren't ready and that they need to go learn how to play the game. I'm ****ing tired of this baby **** and I can't be the only one.

Well we already got research scrolls -p2w- imo i don't see why they can't add enlightenment scrolls a well.
