I don't know about you, but most of us don't need someone to give us treats and say "good job buddy!" to enjoy an aspect of a game.
If you enjoy fighting for your faction, for AP or just to chill with friends, you don't need any additional reward.
If you don't enjoy it, this game has a lot more to offer.
The way out is through the wayshrine at the base gates.

How does pvp differentiate from pve in that respect?
..If you enjoy playing the game, for XP/CP or just to chill with friends, you don't need any additional reward.
Rewards have blown for a long time since they stopped giving master weapons. But must there be a grand reward for everything?
Is there no joy in nuking people, learning how to fight other builds...
...or slamming down your mouse as you get zerged down, rolling your eyes and muttering to yourself? I play this game to blow off steam fro work and pvp to kill. That’s reward in itself. And before I get “lol server performance I should get a reward for playing in that” then don’t pvp if it drives you that batty.
