so with no incentive to play campaign what is the point..tier 3 can be reached 1 in no time.then all becomes a pointless back and forth of keep taking. there is no real reward for playing PvP

    I don't know about you, but most of us don't need someone to give us treats and say "good job buddy!" to enjoy an aspect of a game.

    If you enjoy fighting for your faction, for AP or just to chill with friends, you don't need any additional reward.
    If you don't enjoy it, this game has a lot more to offer.

    How does pvp differentiate from pve in that respect?

    I'm not the best person to answer this, I have completed Master Angler.

    Not everything in the game appeals to everyone, just find something else that you enjoy and leave those who do enjoy PVP to themselves.

    PvP has never been about the rewards (cept maybe when you could get Master weapons), if you go into it lookin for rewards you will be left wanting.

    Rewards have blown for a long time since they stopped giving master weapons. But must there be a grand reward for everything? Is there no joy in nuking people, learning how to fight other builds or slamming down your mouse as you get zerged down, rolling your eyes and muttering to yourself? I play this game to blow off steam fro work and pvp to kill. That’s reward in itself. And before I get “lol server performance I should get a reward for playing in that” then don’t pvp if it drives you that batty.

    So, this campaign, I logged onto my old MagDK healer to get to reward tier 3 for the extra rewards.

    Then on my new PVP character, my stam warden, I got to reward tier 3 pretty fast too.

    I'm done, right?

    Heck no! There's enemy keeps to take, enemy raids to wipe, emperors to crown and emperors to dethrone. I've got to remember the Chalamo, run solo, zerg-surf, farm Alessia bridge and have fun with my guild.

    Oh, and win the campaign or at least give the winning faction a solid fight for it.

    The end of campaign rewards are nice and all, and the transmute crystals are handy, but I'd play PVP without them.

    pve= Reward drops are added bonus & make progressing the story/quest that much more worth it.

    pvp= Reward from killing another player/players knowing that you have a better build &/or rotation.

    Yes. You can not release content that is just fun. Players would buy it, play it, and when the time would come for them to fork out more money for new content, they would say no thanks, we are already having fun. Reward driven content is far superior; players have to buy it, because it contains better rewards than older content, and, if it is atrocious enough, you can even coerce them into paying to skip it. In ideal scenario, they would do both; first buy the content, then buy some boosters to be done with it as fast as possible.

    I thought one fought every variant of two-hander swinging, weapon damage stacking build generally the same way; stacked weapon damage too and swung his own two-hander.

    well the top 2% get gold rewards right?

    Well, that means basically <50 people (from what I see campaign pop of a faction of the 30 days campaign is between 2000 and 2500)...

    obviously that is for no-lifers and not mature people with job and family... :(

    It would be cool if there were more reward tiers:
    tier 4 at 200K AP: granting on top a random pvp motif-page and master weapon
    tier 5 at 500K AP: granting on top a perfect asylum weapon

    something like that.

    oh and also I think the quest rewards for scrolls should be buffed, I mean 3000 AP (kill quest gives 2000, taking a keep gives 6000...). The whole scroll thing should be way more epic...

    edit:
    you can increase the required AP too 500K and 1000K for the tiers if you want if you think it is too easy. But there should be more ways to get endgame gear for PvP players. Also factor in that this is once per 30 days...

    Stop the grind! Get rid of stupid events and daily-quest gallore. Get rid of "have a chance of 1 in a million to get a piece of 1 in 30 to get a stupid motif or pet... wtf..."
    And at this point just remove all classes and have everyone choose their set of skills. then balance accordingly to skills always used vs. skills never used.

    What would add more incentive, for me atleast, is to rrotate the reward for the worthy. Now I understand they would need some kind of an outlet for the current rewards, since they are not grindable. If they would rotate the rewards per campaign cycle or something it would spice it up a little for me atleast.
