Yeah its been worse than usual this past week. Last night I got stuck in a revive animation, load screens in combat, regen completely stops, and skills getting blacked out and unusable for minutes at a time. Ultimates usually have to be pressed 3-7 times to activate and then throw in a random blue screen in the middle of combat and it's loads of fun.

I also ask myself each month why I bother to sub since they obviously do not take these issues seriously. Most companies that act like this would have lost their customer base years ago, but somehow in gaming this is deemed acceptable.

That is pretty hard to watch, yikes...the lag is real, and the frustrating part about it is, this imo would be one of the greatest PvP games I've played of all time....if they can fix the lag...

Its been needing a fix since launch and now on all platforms.
If they we serious about fixing it, they would of been done by now. BUT shareholders only want one thing to work, crown crates and anyother mirco transactions.

Current state needs a overhaul, will they fix it? No, theres no money in it, whys there no money in it? Because it broken mess of outdated code and bandaid fixes.

Its truly disgusting at this point. This is the normal on xbox, and obv bad on PC to, and this last week it has been so bad i havent wanted to pvp. No matter what we do it will never get fixed. I mean it happens to everyone and when it gets worse periodically (like this last week) it also happens to everyone. How does this game ever progress when zos is getting such a bad rep from this? and when people keep leaving because they cant play.

This has been happening to me for the past month. You cant bar swap, use skills, and everyone is just skipping all over the place and when i hit someone i start lagging. Ps4 NA

This exact thing has been happening to me on Xbox NA... The lag has made PvP unplayable... People bypassing the que by getting other factions to que them in isn’t helping anything either.

PvE's been bad lately as well. Had dozens of disconnects and crashes in vMoL HM progression this week and lag was as bad as it's been since Morrowind.

They need to do something about emp keeps in general. When it comes down to the last emp keep it gets unplayable due to all the factions stacking at one objective.

Skills don't go off, ground AOEs don't show (Negate, Meteor etc), CCs not showing in time, not being able to block in time, potions and ulties don't activate, enemies are not where they are shown on screen...

Also... Two days ago in evening I was troll sieging a keep right near main door, while melee guards were just standing there aggroed with weapons drawn but not doing anything cause they lagged so much (or rather we all lagged)

Or taking a town and having guards just stand there looking aggressive...

A month or two ago I was at distant resource and there was so much lag that all resource guards were reset while I was fighting them in tower... Never had such extreme lag before or after

Tonight I took a lumber mill by myself. It was one of the most surreal fights I've had in ESO. Animations would play several seconds after the relevant abilities were successfully used, sometimes after other abilities later in my rotation animated. Guards would start to attack, then freeze. The magicka guards would fire their destro fireballs at me, but then the destro fireballs wouldn't actually do anything. I'd stun a guard, and he'd go through several more (apparently ineffectual?) attacks and then suddenly go flying back.

I won pretty easily, but I'm honestly not 100% how that fight actually went. Given that I was there, that's a weird thing to say, but the lag was that bad.

You also need to test your ping to a node at least somewhere near the server. The best way is to run a path ping or some such to the server IP address or just ping that IP address specifically. Also what’s your hardware setup like? Are you using WiFi or wired? Is your modem good? Is your router good? Is the firmware updated? If youre using WiFi does it have to go through a lot of walls? If you’re wired are you using a proper cable?

Yep early this morning the game performance in Cyrodiil was the worst I have seen it in a long time. I happened to be at BRK Vivic campaign PC NA server and within a thirty minute span, the game locked up three times and I crashed. When attempting to get back into the game I either got the message "Already Logged In" or "Unable to Connect to Server". Then on top of that when I finally did get back in had to put up with constant load screens. Twice I was able to get back into Cyrodiil but as I said that did not last long before I crashed again. The third time when I did get back online, I found myself dead in Reapers Marsh having been kicked out from Vivic. This was not only happening to me but several friends of mine also playing during that time.

ZOS mentioned something about a patch with the next dlc. Why not implement it now? ZOS you have had over three years of complaints on the game performance in Cyrodiil and it gets worse and worse. What is really the kicker is now with the removal of AoE caps with the next dlc that's not going to help with the game performance problems in PvP but only add too them.

PC-NA Vivec last night was unplayable. I'm in a 1v1 and neither of our skills would fire off for about 20 seconds. We just stopped trying and chugged mead together before running away.

Oh and it’s not a fix, but obviously swapping to a lower pop campaign helps. They really should open up a few more just as a stop-gap.

I'm still waiting for a serious non-speculative answer as to why this game could support 300 players on screen with no lag at launch. And why a 24v24 fight at a keep is a slideshow today.

Until we get an answer, from the sources, of why ZOS betrayed and killed the dream of PvP. no other fix or solution will satisfy.

I don't have these lag issues, everything reacts quick with minimum latency always and I never ever any dc. The issue I have (for the past week) though is my character begins to move slowly for no reason and I have to relog, but that seems unrelated to your lag issue. Could it be related to playstation network? I know that even with a good internet connection playstation network is not super reliable which is an opinion I have based on my experience with my PS4 for two years now. Or perhaps this is only a NA server issue, I play on EU.
