I for one want ESO to succeed specially the PVP but ZOS really does need to do a better job at giving us SOMETHING a little bit of hope goes so far. you just commenting on this post greatly helps moral, but it will only sate a few of us. I love what you do i think you are one of the best community managers in any game that i have been apart of but, Alot of us have been here for over 4 years and we keep getting the same thing and it gets really dis heartening.
I have Mad love for yall but just give us something. You tell us what you need and we will get it for you im 100% certain the community will help if you allow.

@AngelFires333
Actually I remember playing ES4 & ES5 thinking that this would be a great setting for an MMO.
I think that ESO presents opportunity for more creativity and cultural explorations. I always felt off playing other races than the home races of the province we were playing in.
it always felt more appropriate to play a Nord in Skyrim, Dunmer in Morrowind, and Imperial in Oblivion. (though I always had an Argonian character save)
I feel in ESO I have more narrative freedom to be who I want. (However, I do have some discrepancies with the class system but that is for a different thread)

Just want to let you know that we have been seeing your concerns. Game performance and loading screens is something that we're constantly monitoring and investigating ways to improve. That said, we do understand there have been an increase in reported issues lately, and we know it's frustrating. We have some fixes for loading screens coming to next week's PTS patch, and believe we have some leads for overall performance improvements that we're actively digging into.
Yo,
i know. Clickbait title but i mean it like i wrote it.
Everyday a new thread is created complaining about the biggest issue in ESO. The horrible lag in Cyrodiil. Everyday. When they do ESO live stream the chat is spammend with questions about the ongoing lag in Cyrodiil.
They are not reacting to it. They are just ignoring it. No Comment on Forum, no Comment in Stream. There are now more then 4 Patches without any improvement to this major issue.
We really need an big improvement to this issue. With this lag competetive pvp is not possible. Everything has a huge delay or is just not working.
And another Question: Why are there no pvp related DLC? We got Imperial City wich is kinda pvp related. Thats it. Nothing more. Okay Battlegrounds where are most of the gamemodes more pve cause its just running for the objective...
ZOS, pls improve Cyrodiil. Increase the Player Limit, Decrease the lag. Make Cyrodiil great again!

I just got to laugh. I have lost count on how many times I have heard the above story from ZOS. Hey ZOS just wanted to say actions speak louder than words.

You're just not going to have real-time performance with the size of the map and the number of people mashing buttons.
Any time I've been in Cyrodiil in the middle of a big battle, I just take a deep breath and say, yes, this is exactly how fast a server can process and resolve this many simultaneous requests. There's no real way to fix that. There's no cure for people congesting a few map points instead of spreading smaller battles out throughout the map. It's turning PVP into a Black Friday queue where everyone's banging at the doors and claiming to be the first person in line. PVP DLC won't help the problem. If they're not fast, cheap, and easy AP farms, then they're inferior to Cyrodiil.
I don't see ZOS having any chance at appeasing people who choose playstyles that complicate improving performance. So in a way I see PVP as a reflection of the player base and not necessarily ZOS's fault.

This is really nice. I would truly like to believe this. Its just as he said though, the issue is ignored on the forums and on eso live (eso live i dont really blame you though).. And through tickets all we usually get is a "Check your isp" message. That is the part that is just insane to me because im telling you @ZOS_GinaBruno if you played this game on xbox and you were a pvp player you would not be even a little bit happy. My entire group quit tonight because of how bad it is in SHOR with no que!!! Never mind vivec with a 200 que! That is literally unplayable on a weekend at prime time..
And thats just my expirience i know its bad on every platform. People need some insight every now and again when things are as bad as they are, thats all. And its not just pvp.. Ill be dueling people @ 4am with literally 2 other people and we'll all be lagging.. and thats not every day but it happens. I just think if you guys could comment on even one of the many manyyyy cyrodil performance posts a little more it would help the situation so much. Thank you for the information.
I just wish so much that a zos team member would go try to solo ( or even duo ) pvp on xbox in vivec on a weekend. Really i do. Stream it on twitch. Its just terrible.

That response is almost cut and paste from the dozens of other times threads like this have been made over the last 4 years.
The, we'll look into it, only means something if a tangible result comes out.
Game performance issues are about to hit 4 years with no real change.

It is so bad and unfair to us the customer base that they should be open about the issues and the solutions. If there was an open dialogue real improvements might happen.

So you get a response and you are still not happy. Go play something else. You're the consumer after all. Or, if you are so certain it's easy to fix, apply for a job with Zenimax and show them your skills.

I'm not happy with the response because we've heard it countless times. You probably haven't played long if you think that a response from ZOS is anything other than attempt to quiet discord.
I'm a field service engineer for high end CNC equipment. If anything I service performed as badly as this server, it would have been scrapped already.
