I for one am glad they are making some more magicka based monster sets. That being said the more combat abilities/options they add to the game, the more rich the game will feel, and things may just gel together nicely.

That being said, I think fixing some of these under/over preforming sets will be a "thing" in the future. It may also produce too much "dev sweat".

Come on people, do you really think eso will listen to any feedback on pts about an OP set.

You can’t tell me that the developer of a certain set sits there in his/her comfy office and go “Aaah lets thump suck as set and make it as OP as possible and everyone will be happy”. This set was designed and approved by various chains of command as no one employer has free reign to create and implement any design or function of the game on their own. There are the board and shareholders to account to and with a game this big and the amount of money already spent on the game including advertising; they cannot afford to give free reign to any rogue “Designer Genius” to do as he/she wants. After all it is a business with the sole purpose of making profit.

This set is purposely made to be OP so that the sheep will go into the grind frenzy and that will lead to

1. More players grinding means more traffic (Helps game stay relevant).
2. More players on the server means they can be enticed to spend money on crown stores and gambling crates = more income= happy shareholders.

Once the profit margin is reached for that month and traffic shows signs of less grinding for the set then they will nerf it and buff another in order to start the grind frenzy again.

Don’t belief the nonsense about eso wanting balancing between classes. People are predictable and Gamers want the best experience for their money, in other words they want the most OP character with the most OP set because it’s all about “I’m better, faster, stronger and smarter than you.” And gamers want that experience now. That’s why you find even new players to the game skipping content and speed levelling their characters to max as no one wants to be the “Weak and lagging behind” whilst my friends are enjoying end game content.

Eso knows this and that’s why you pay real money to reroll a class or char, that ladies and gentlemen is where the money is.
Example:

I have a high Elf temp healer and the word on the street is that lizards can do the job much better, so what do I do?
Buy crown and change my High Elf to a lizards and now I’m “Stronger, faster and smarter than you so eat my shorts. lol”

It’s the same with duels.

People discovered that low level chars get battle raised to deal with the new content on eso, so what do they do?
They purchase another char slot using real money, then they go and grind the gear and gold it out (More traffic), but of course some of the gear looks like a org puked on it so they buy costumes, cosmetic and skins using real money (You got to look good whilst whipping that max level player). Money spend by players = more income=Happy board and shareholders.

Anyone who has ever played any online game will tell you it sucks to face another player using a stick when they can have their way with you using their seemingly god like powers.

Just look at the forms and you will see people are experiencing that right now with the OP two handed, spamming of birds, unkillable damage dealing tanks and nerf request.

I may be wrong but didn’t Deltia rage quit because they were invited for feedback only to have eso ignore any advice or suggestions?
