We know what you're up to ZoS -- releasing intentionally overtuned sets in new purchasable DLCs to increase sales. For the sake of the game, just don't, you already took a stance on proc sets widely applauded by the community several patches ago, no need to revert out of common sense for an extra buck -- we'll buy your DLC anyway, no need for another Earthgore-level headache for your playerbase.

There has been overpowered sets in non-DLC stuff before, and this is only the start of the PTS cycle and they have specifically stated that balance changes don't start until next week at the earliest.

Also, if the sets are garbage then whats the point... they need to be good or nobody would use it. Wait until the final balance... it'll likely be changed.

You were talking about Zaan, not earthgore.

My point was that they have expressly stated that balance changes start in next weeks PTS patch, so coming to the forums accusing them of deliberate greed and manipulation before they've even had a chance to act on any of the feedback is rather hasty at best.

How dare a game company try and make money and also make current content rewarding!

I think ZoS should stop making content completely or release it for free. They could let hobos live in the old studio and pay them with soup to keep the servers running.

If you feel this strongly about the balance of this then I suggest going to the PTS and leaving feedback.

Most gear that is BiS is either in the base game or easily acquired from somebody who does have it.

So what's you're logic? This game isn't supposed to produce any great or amazing sets since it's release due to being 'pay to win'? People like you already killed the Warden class because you screamed p2w so now we have a usless 5th class that might as well not even be in the game.

For you or anyone alike please just stop. DLC is supposed to be exciting and fun, if it contained nothing of interest or value why even get it? They already ruined the MMO experience but keeping all DLCs and expansions "battle leveled" at least let us have a new set worth while grinding for.

It's the way of the future..let people who buy behe dlc get good gear to entice others who just got stomped to buy the dlc to get good gear. Whether it's this model or algorithmic match making to entice microtransactions it's a thing now.

I'd it bad? I'm not one to say..all I can say is enjoy the game for what you enjoy

Just because you decide to completely ignore one aspect of the game doesnt mean the warden is useless. Its a monster in pvp. Also using your logic what you said makes no sense because people like us that said the warden was OP in pvp werent listened to at all obviously.

Its much more realistic that the current Dev team recycled a class from the beta but had absolutely no understanding of it because they really had no part in creating the class in the first place. Thats what cracks me up when you guys ask for a Necromancer... these guys arent capable of that delivery its pretty obvious.


Finally the set can be worth farming just not completely over the top broken in pvp.. ya know the gamemode you seem to think doesnt exist because you dont play it.

Yet if ZOS added a garbage set, people would go on the forums and complain that the sets are terrible and the combat team is terrible.

ZOS is damned if they do, damned if they don’t.
Cut them some slack and quit complaining, just enjoy the game or leave.
