Not an addon issue (actually, addons that auto-recharge before weapons hit zero would be a workaround for this).
It's a base game issue where the game treats the depletion of an enchantment as if you had changed your gear mid-fight.Nightfighters ― PC/NA and PC/EU

also happens when a guild you're in adds/kicks a member. solid 1 or 2 second screen freeze. Never had this happen before recently.CP690

Fortunatly on PC we can avoid it by having an addon recharge the enchant just before it runs out but Zos needs to fix it for consoles and not rely on players to create work arounds to avert the bugs Zos built.
I am surprised Zos has not given such a thing a priority since it can cause real issues.1 -

I am surprised Zos has not given such a thing a priority since it can cause real issues.
If I post a bug report 9/10 times it gets ignored. And even if I bump it they still ignore and then close the thread. Even if it’s been around for years1 -

I prefer Weapon Charger because it hooks into a game event that is fired each time a charge is consumed and recharges when there are only 4 charges left. Other addons aren't as efficient and generally recharge way too early.Nightfighters ― PC/NA and PC/EU
