Serious ask

If Zos are going to continue to allow Miats addon, with users constantly able to find me in stealth without the use of skills or pots, also able to avoid my attacks by use of the addon, can we at least have a rework of the NB class to make it playable in PVP?

If you are not willing to to end the "prescient" gifts this addon bestows then please at least give us a NB class we can play in PvP.

Miats impacts on other players without their consent.

Raid notifier is a choice but doesn't directly impact on the enjoyment of other players. It probably impacts on leader boards if you are into that.

Structurally speaking the game iself gives you several hints about mechanics , either PVP ou PVE. Both referred add ons not only highlighs these mechanics but also antecipate them, so the players using these add ons have great advantage against his foe, either PVP or PVE.

Another aspect of both Miat's and Raid Notifier is the advantage of users over non-users. Since PVP and PVE have both passive competitive aspects like leaderboards, players that use the add-on have a clearly advantage over players not using them.

Of course, Miat's draws much more attention than Raid Notifier because Rhakkat and other trial bosses can't have forum accounts and having advantage over any other player sounds much more like a issue than have a advantage over AI. Tho structurally speaking they are pretty much the same.

The real question is are they intented to exist? Did ZOS allowed them to exist on purpose or it was just a flaw that became a feature? Since they have been around for quite a while I think they are now a feature and I don't think ZOS will ever remove them.

I could be wrong, being on console and all. However doesn’t Miats alert users when players go into stealth near them?
If that is the case, it’s more a point of clarification vs misdirection.

If that is the case, it’s more a point of clarification vs misdirection.

It warns them that they are being targeted by someone in stealth using a charge up attack, even if the target is not looking at the assailant. Same goes for any charge up attacks. Someone could be prancing along, oblivious to the fact they are in a warzone, and get a warning that someone was charging up an attack. However I am 100% certain there are addons that do show where stealthers are, because I have been the victim of people charging at me from a football field away and zeroing in on me when i was invis and in stealth .

Had this happen to me a few days ago here on PC in sothra. I was inside a EP keep and killed 3 of them and went to make my escape (magnb) and a sorc pulled me out of stealth with a frag then kept up the chase for about a min before I turned around and just finally killed him. Guess it could be a detect pot but he was seeing me from a VERY long ways away and for a very long time.

And miats is some BS. Its kinda funny watching people riding their mount from Point A to B and being stealthed and then Charging a heavy attack with my desto and watching them instantly jump off the mount holding Block while the other 3 people around them just keep going.
Or when you are about to stealth gank a DK and before you even unstealth or finish the channel he pops wings and waits for the reflect without having any knowledge outside miats that there was even a nb in the area.

It really is a cheat basically giving the player information that was NEVER intended for them to have in the game.

Yep... an NPC invisible vet trial difficulty boss that will chase you as long as you have one of those "add-ons"... and even if you die and re-spawn - it will continue to hunt you...

That would be even better than changing the api... and it would be even more funny if there would be not mention of this it patch-notes... xD

i remember 2001's first PvP tracker/alert 3rd party plug-ins. they even had "GM alert" who log in to investigate "cheats", but they caught several players and ban for life, since it also cause massive lag like we are look frozen and see a blur in lightning flash killing a group. speed hack we call it. it is illegal and cheating.
those using GM alert would log out to hide, they dont know that, and they do leave "calling cards" tag on corpses that "who kill this" name on it, that how they get caught for micro-combat bot script.

i have seen it, often rarely get invitations to the groups for xp, but i was seeking "quest items" on the drops, these mobs i fought, are very deadly and swarm pretty heavy. those "Olthoi Mutulators", nastiest bugs, and i had seen few deadlier "Ninjas" spawned that was designed as anti-bot if you stay in same spot too long, but i was always on the move, usaully from corner to corner, protecting my "6" rearguard. you dont want to get flanked in that place.

as for this game, heck no, that would be considered cheating, just use the potions.
