I want them to do what they did in Skyrim. At first I thought it was a joke and being lazy. Then I realized that Bethesda have given us the best ability possible. To what ever we wanted without being told what to do.

It's like being told how to wipe. Do you really need that? No. So we don't need to be told how our characters should be or we shouldn't be told how to play how we want.

So I say get rid of classes, and have skill trees so we can pick and choose what ever we want to be in.
Not my quote but I love this saying

They're going to be reworking the skill lines so that every class skill line functions similarly to the Warden's. That is, one focused on DPS, one for tanking, one for healing. We'll have to see how that pans out before layering on more ingredients to the Balance Batter™.
    Dalek-Rok - Argonian Sorcerer || Dalek-Shād - Argonian Nightblade || Dalek-Shul - Argonian Templar || Dalek-Xal - Argonian Dragonknight || Mounts-the-Snout - Argonian Warden || Dalek-Xul - Argonian Necromancer || Two-Spires - Argonian Arcanist || Dalek-Nesh - Argonian Sorcerer || Dalek-Kör - Argonian Dragonknight
Don't incorporate bugs into your builds, and you won't have [an] issue.

Now i took a break so maybe i missed something but i remember them talking about warden in eso about the skill lines being like that but never that they are reworking the other classes to be like that. do you have a link where they said this?

Adding a new skill to the end of each class skill line would be cool.

Adding a fourth class skill line altogether would be even cooler :)

yes, also I like class system in Morrowind or Oblivion
p.s. I dislike know that my Sorc is blue, templar is yellow, nightblade is bloody, knight is fiery and warden is green. Make class skills COLORED is worst thing they made here

I believe it was one of the CWC ESO Live episode segments and explaining the reasoning behind the change of Agony from a CC to a healing skill. It's supposed to be a gradual thing though, not a one-patch overhaul like Morrowind was to resources. @ZOS_GinaBruno might know exactly where that statement was made.

That, or I'm crazy and grossly misremember the events that transpired during the CWC testing period.

I think that Nightblades already have this pretty well done. Almost every skill in the siphoning tree heals, Every skill the in shadow tree has some sort of defensive bonus, and assassination has your bursty and finisher skills.

The only thing I might change for Nightblades to truly obey this "rule of three trees" is to swap Veiled Strike and it's morphs with Blur and it's morphs. However, I would have Veiled Strike be the first ability unlocked in it's new tree.

I might argue that Cripple and it's morphs feel out of place in the Siphoning tree, but most of Nightblade healing is short range, so a range mobility increase is vital to effective healing.

i doubt we'll see anything that needs a new weapon as it would mess with drop rates....of course you could make a skill line that involves animations such as the aedric spear stuff from the templar

what could happen is skill lines that involve the existing weapons, what i also could see happening is maybe crossbows (but doubtfu)

1h + spell for example as it doesnt need a new weapon...or another skill line that requires a destruction staff for example or a crossbow line that requires a bow that turns into a crossbow when you use it...

either way, if we get new skill lines i really hope they involve combat skills and not just rp flavor skills like thieves guild or dark brotherhood

    so let me guess

templar - aedric spear tanking, restoring light healing, dawn's wreath dps
dk - flames dps, dragon tanking, earthen healing
nb - assassination dps, shadow tanking, siphoning healing
sorc - storm calling dps, pets tanking, dark magic healing

Wondering how they will do this with stamina morphs tough...well reworking stuff sounds interesting, im in need of some changes... i hope they also rework some of the weapon skill lines in a way that they all can do dps + utility or dps + tanking.... for example S+B could use some more dps to make it a viable option
