If you play on PC and would like to formally contribute your findings, consider downloading Faunter's Crown Crate Tracker from esoui or from Minion before opening your crates. It's an addon that automatically takes note of which items you receive, and everyone's results are then merged online into The Crown Crate item drop rates document for easy reference. The more crates people open with the addon installed, the more accurate each item's drop rate becomes. Make your friends download the addon as well--no buts!

✭you won't get anything. The drop rates of the crates is really low, designed to exploit people gambling tendencies, like every other game with loot crates. And wouldn't be surprise if the "free crates" have even lower drop rates for valuable items18 -

Eddyble✭✭✭✭only thing I'd like to get is the skin and the horse mount. but, as with past free crates, I probably wont. might spend $20 for a try when they officially release but i'm almost at the expected # of gems so, i'll probably get them that way.
EDIT: after reading through the thread I no longer want to buy crates. I'll see what I get from the free ones and probably stop there.

@Left4Daud I've thought about it, but this is a very tricky thing to do. For starters, I'd have to dig into the addon API to see if such a thing would even be possible. Given that the event you're talking about is more of a one-time thing, it would be impossible to iterate on design or test what works and what doesn't. There would also be very little time to get the word out and gather enough hype/interest.Hello @Faunter
Will you or someone else be collecting data for the crown rewards boxes for the upcoming dungeon event? I'm not sure it would be possible to update the crown crate addon but I'd be very curious to see the numbers on these mysterious rewards boxes. Any thoughts?
