The beard is in the Crown Store right now for 200 crowns. It won't be in the crates.

For myself, I won't buy crates. If I want an item, I know how much I'd be willing to pay for it. I'm not willing to spend Divines know how much for a chance at maybe possibly getting the exact item I want. I also don't want stuff I don't like and wouldn't buy instantly bound forever to my account/in my collections. For someone who really doesn't mind which apex mount they get, or what other items end up in their collections, then the crates could be fun.

I would like a guar attronach flame mount for my Magicka dragon knight. Or the shadow senche for my mag sorc but I will settle for nothing but free poisoons and mimic stones cause that’s all these things usually drop

If you're talking about the coldfire wolf/blue one, start sacrificing to the rng gremlins. That is one of the mounts that can't be bought with gems.

I'd be more than willing to buy the senche mount and the cat. I doubt the free crates will give me enough gems to buy the sentry cat. I won't buy crates, so I know getting the senche will never happen. So I won't be keeping my streak of getting all the cats and senches going. Too bad they won't set a price and sell the stuff eventually, even if its a months or a year later.

I want the sentry cat, and even if I just get all junk from them I might be able to get enough gems since I have some from last time too. If the arctic fox is in there it is pretty cute too. Tattoos or makeup that actually shows up on vampire skin would be nice also.

As usual, most of the Apex mounts look simply absurd. I wouldn't say no to a nice costume, though. That "Jarl's Deluxe Moot Regalia" is sure nice, though I don't see it in the Crate listing OP posted, so maybe it's purchasable directly. (Please!)

I guess that Flamebrow Fire Veil is pretty neat. If I have to pick one item to want, I think that's it.

What is free is free, but for some items i wish we could just convert them to gems instead. I have gotten some of the face tattoos in previous free crates, i will NEVER use these…would rather have gems i can trade in for something i want. Its the same as when you get race specific things like Argonian head horns, if you don't have an argonian those are no good. That being said i got some of those once and made an argonian just because it annoyed me having them taunting me….

What am I hoping for? Fire mounts and some of the costumes.

What do I expect? A bunch of consumables I will trade for gems.

Will I buy crates too chase after the mounts? No. I might but a pack of crates with my sub crowns.

Free is free. There's a number of things I think are cool in the listed contents. The only one that I actively want and would buy with crowns and then permanently assign to an alt were it directly purchasable is the Mage Sentry Cat. Maybe some costumes but I'd need to preview them.

Here's hoping (vaguely and without any expectation) for the cat, and further hoping that it doesn't have horrid animations.

There are two woman's outfits I am hoping for, sadly nothing looks good for my guys. I like the garland horse if that's in it, great for a free crate gift but wouldn't buy it, I have so many mounts now I just cant justify buying anymore .
