I don't see any point in doing it unless you're role-playing on the forum (and I've never seen the people who do RP here doing it). I assume people think it's funny to throw a random comment about how much they hate argonians or whoever into every post, but most of the time it just comes across as an off-topic half-hearted attempt to annoy someone. So basically every other post on the internet. That kinda depends. By it's very definition, to be offended is to be annoyed at an insult and the likes, so most people can't disagree with you in this case as it is what it is. but like i said above, I just get annoyed at annoying people rather than any digs they throw my way.0 -

Jarryzzt✭✭✭✭If the OP is referring to things like the stealable item "rules for Kick-the-Khajit" (or whatever the name is) - the fluff for certain races/realms/regions incorporates racism and slavery, so these sorts of thing fit the background. Ditto certain NPCs who express, in strong terms, their feeling of racial superiority viz. someone or something (e.g. Dunmer vs. Argonians, Altmer vs. Bosmer, everyone vs. Orcs...). In particular as ZOS does keep these things relatively tame, and consistently lets the PC take the moral high ground viz. these NPCs.
If the OP is, instead, referring to some unknown section of these very forums populated with threads on "Khajit jokes" (in the vein of "Polish" or "Jewish" jokes of yesteryear)...I have not seen such. I suppose if I had, I might find them...not illegal, per se, but rather indicative that someone would take the time to go on the Internet and make up politically incorrect jokes about an imaginary race of humanoids. That's the sort of thing one would expect on 4chan or some such, right alongside furry *** posts or what have you.

It is fine if everyone agreed to being in an RP thread and not fine if you just jump the hell in with it out of nowhere. Like you were waiting for an an oppotunity to be "racist" in a way that you wont get in trouble for because its a fanatsy world where slaving happens.7 -

Pretty much my feelings on it, plus in Bal Foyen, it's becoming a huge thing in Zone Chat there, which is sad because that's where my home is and it used to be super quiet, maybe with the occasional new player asking a question that I'll happily answer, now the dunmer and altmer trolls moved in to hate on argonians. And this has happened on numerous different days.Hoping for more playable races0 -
