Xbox/PS4 load screen massive issue

I will say a bunch of us have mentioned how the lag is a ton better in cyrodiil but that’s probably because people aren’t playing due to the dlc and the load screens. Still not fixed tonight so I and others logged off early again.

We're actively investigating the issue on all platforms in both PvP and PvE areas.

I can't pvp anywhere near a keep because Everytime it flips I get a long load screen. Even when just a wall is put back up. I can't even skyshard hunt on other characters. It does not work.

This issue can't wait much longer without at least us knowing what going on and when a fix is coming. And on console it can't wait 3-4 weeks before we see one.

Day 1 of Dlc that my guild mates either subscribe for or bought and I can't even get them to log on.

I just had to quit and restart the game due to a load screen from a keep wall being repaired!!!

Might have to stop repairing walls....

@ZOS_GinaBruno ya GOTTA update us ASAP, if you guys leave this unfixed for too long you guys might actually kill pvp..Please DO NOT NOT SAY ANYTHING. Figuratively pvp has its head underwater and youre the only ones who can pull it out before it drowns. And the longer it stays under the more brain cells (players) you lose.

Or you could just be honest with us and tell us you don't give a *** about the stability of pvp so I can just unsub and never log back in the game.

My guild ran VHoF yesterday and every door we went through 2-3 people would get endless loading screens and have to force quit their game. We ran VAA tonight and when teleporting up to the mage 4 people had the exact same issue. @ZOS_GinaBruno can we get some sort of update for when this will be hot fixed? This is ruining competive PvE. Xbox NA.

With the lack of response they have shown i almost wonder if they are planning on making some sort of big announcement finally admitting they can't fix the problem with the game and don't know how or maybe there was a mass firing where alot of employees was let go or something because of the continues issues the game experiences after a big dlc is released and if there isn't a big reason like the ones i listed them why the lack of responding to the community perhaps they hope it will just blow over and fix it's self lol either way we deserve to know more then what they have said

I honestly think they were blindsided by this. Simply didn't see it coming. Maybe they were operating under an assumption that if the PTS was okay for PC users, console would be good too. They clearly didn't test console prior to launch because as pointed out in another thread, all it would take is one death in PvP to notice the infinite load screen.

Maybe they can't test console. I wouldn't rule that out. But if they can, but didn't? Ouch...

I know they're taking it very seriously - After all, jobs are at stake. If the game loses players, they lose revenue sources and no company wants that. It's frustrating that it's been days with no solution implemented yet. If this bug requires a new client, who knows how long it will take to get past the Sony and Microsoft approval process. Definitely worth spending money to expedite though, once they nail down the issue and have the solution.

I'm usually one of the people saying "Guys, calm down, they're working on it. Be patient." However, we're now on day 3 or 4 of this issue and we've barely heard a peep communication-wise. I honestly don't think they even know what the problem is yet. If they do, the least they could tell us was that they're now working on a fix. The lack of communication here is causing frustration to grow and grow.

I'm actually surprised they are still doing an ESO live with this issue continuing. I feel like they are just going to be bothered about it the whole time. Also seems a little tone-deaf with it affecting so many customers to just carry on like it's business as usual.

I was charging towards the enemy in Cyrodiil and got hit with an infinite load screen in the midst of battle. I relaunched the game, respawned at the nearest Keep and got hit with yet another infinite load screen. How is this even happening!?

Even people with the new Xbox One X are getting stuck in these load screens. When will you realize you need some sort of small scale console PTS's to figure all this out before you release an update. Alot of people leave this game salty and never to return because of stuff like this. It happens every. single. patch. Now people are gonna say it's Microsoft that won't allow that or some BS they are being fed. I believe it's pure laziness or just "not in the budget" because if you actually cared about console players you would've made something happen by now. The first few weeks of console release are the console PTS guys.

Tried to farm normal trials last night with the guild for coffers on our alt characters (not yet ready for vets on these - just simply for the crystals to transmute):

4 crashes in SO as soon as people walked in
MULTIPLE crashes in AA trying to teleport on the pads to get to the next stage
5 crashes at the end of HRC as soon as we went to walk through the door from killing the adds to get to the boss.

SO took us the least amount of time, because you don't have to walk through doors or travel, etc. That was done in about 15ish mins.

The other 2, took us about an hour to finish (35 ish mins each).

This was simply from the crashes and not being able to move forward in AA without the group, and couldn't go into HRC last boss and complete until everyone was there, otherwise no coffer for them.

So PVP people, its not just you. You are not alone

I'm proud of anybody who spammed FIX LOAD SCREENS in their chat earlier today, I want them to be hounded by that spam until its fix. This is *** that it hasn't been fix in what 4 days now?!

That's probably true. They can test console on the dev consoles they have, but they won't work as 'real world' consoles do - simply as they don't have to interact with PSN/Xbox Live like ours have to.

Earlier I got 'stuck' exiting a delve. I could see that I was outside as the 'fringe' was moving around the load screen, so I ran until I hit something. Once I'd closed and re-opened, I was quite a distance from the delve entrance, so there's a problem with the server telling the client to remove the load screen.

PSA: If you unsub now they won't have data on it (i.e. they won't feel it) until the next billing cycle hits in a few weeks.

Instead: Just stop playing whatever it is that you are playing.

PSA NA Vivec is effectively done now. ZERO bars two nights ago on all three alliances. Red had the entire map (wtf?) and kept it for hours because no one was around to grab anything.

Population drops they see immediately, and PvP sustains a huge portion of the in-game economy, so they can't lose it.

so yeah...been away from home, been reading about this though, then i got on, totally forgot about it, ran around getting prepped, getting psyched, went to wayshrine to keep....guess what ive been lookng at while texting this. thanks zos. appreciate it. this isnt even a matter of preference or opinion or exaggeration or what. its a loading screen. nothing else. is this what ive invested time energy money into for? a loading screen. i dont think thats what you ever advertising you were selling. also, i didnt see anywhere where youve commented on this yet. thats the THE thing. maybe im wrong? either way, this fn blows, just one way ide still have a little hope, an eta, some trace amounts of understanding, respect, sense of dignity/value/worth. yada. maybe its my fault, but, its been a ever more sickening feeling being an xbox costomer of yours. truly. lame.
