meanwhile not beeing able to take out also means not beeing able to see whats in and also not seeing the history. that means u have no clue whats in and what the content of the guildbank is used for and by who. this is btw a real issue to some gm who have semi-open guild bank system.

yeh - i understand. i just mentioned it. there are a couple of guilds on pc eu which have free access for higher ranks, but lower ranks can have (bank as free trading option) but for robber-reasons no direct access, but have to ask (now they cant ask, because they dont even know if there's something in what they could use). its quite popular in the middle-class trading guilds, social guilds and also pve/pvp guilds. this little extra social aspect in guilds has been destroyed by zos with this unasked change. i mean - nobody can tell me, that zos has been begged for this change or that a lot of gm wanted this change or found it necessary or usefull. now we have it and many people, if not most, are not very fine with it.Free for all but only rank 3+ can withdraw items. Those not able to withdraw by themselves can simply ask any of the guildmasters or anyone else.
Question t you: why would they ask the gm or officers, when they cant see that in the bank might be something they might need? or do you think, they just go to gm and officers: "i need this and that and that, and maybe this. do u have it in your bank?"

✭✭✭I try to stock mine with level 1 items for trait research at least twice a week, and throw in any glyphs, intricates and known recipes and so do many other members. The items aren't that valuable and they provide a service to guild members. The only thing I really ask is that members don't put anything so valuable that they would be mad if one person cleared out everything.
Every once in a while I will throw a PSA into guild chat that it is open to everyone and encourage members to take advantage of it. I always hate when people are afraid to withdraw items or have to ask for them. I couldn't agree more. There should be an easy possibility to see what, when and how much you as player and guild member have contributed to the guild. As it is now you either need to keep track yourself somewhere on a piece of paper (called excel
) or you simply don't care and hope it'll be alright counted by the boss(es)
