And considering ESO is my first MMO I guess I prefer third person.

Having taken a great deal of care creating every one of my characters, I want to be able to SEE them !!

Particularly for a melee character, there's just so much you can't see if you are up close and personal, you miss the tells, the red zones... and of course attacks from behind.
But there's much more potential for fun in first person...
